A method for producing a dampening system housing, includes the steps of providing a longitudinal housing element prepared from a flat component, making available two side parts with grooves for accommodating the longitudinal housing element, inserting the longitudinal housing element in the grooves and sealing the longitudinal housing element in the grooves, as well as a correspondingly produced dampening system housing.

The invention involves a printing press comprising a spray dampening unithaving a spray nozzle cleaning device, a spray dampening unithaving a spray nozzle cleaning deviceand a spray nozzle barhaving a spray nozzle cleaning device. Said spray nozzle cleaning device, respectively, was produced with fluid nozzlesusing a fluid line system, the use of a fluid line system with fluid nozzles to produce such a spray nozzle cleaning device and a procedure to clean the spray nozzlesof a spray dampening unit by means of such a spray nozzle cleaning device. Said spray nozzle cleaning device has been or can be assembled in a spray dampening unit, comprising a fluid line systemhaving several fluid nozzlesby means of which a cleaning fluid can be sprayed on the spray nozzles

Procedure and device for preventing contamination of the nozzles of a spray dampening unit

An ink cartridge holder for delivering ink to printing machine ink systems, includes a cover which seals the ink cartridge holder shut and allows compressed air to build up inside the holder in order to squeeze ink out of a cartridge. A locking mechanism locks the cover in the closed position and unlocks when the cover is opened. An air valve controls the delivery and extraction of air in relation to the inside of the holder, the valve being operable depending on the locked or unlocked position of the cover. A pivoting actuator independently opens and closes the cover and is contrived in such a way that, in a first phase of motion, it moves the cover into the closed position and, in a second phase of motion, locks the cover and switches the air valve, and performs an opposite operation during an opening process.

An ink-supply device of a printing-machine inking unit, having a pressure discharge device, and a lid provided in the pressure discharge device for closing one of a cartridge holder for accepting a cartridge, and a cartridge received directly in the pressure discharge device, respectively, an internal space being formed in one of the pressure discharge device and in a region located between the cartridge and the lid, respectively, the internal space being subjectible to an application of compressed air via a flow path provided with a valve, includes a setting device for actuating the valve when one of the cartridge holder and the cartridge, respectively, is closed by the lid; and a printing machine including the ink-supply device.
