A compressed air energy storage power generation device includes an inert gas source for supplying an inert gas, an inert gas flow path system, and a flow path switching unit. The inert gas flow path system fluidly connects the gas phase portion of the high temperature heat storage unit, the gas phase portion of the low temperature heat storage unit, and the inert gas source. The flow path switching unit switches the inert gas flow path system to at least a state in which the inert gas source is in communication with both the high temperature heat storage unit and the low temperature heat storage unit and a state in which the inert gas source is blocked from both the high temperature heat storage unit and the low temperature heat storage unit.

A thermal energy recovery device includes a circulation flow path for circulating a working fluid, a thermal fluid circulation flow path for circulating hot water, an evaporator for evaporating the working fluid flowing in the circulation flow path by heat of the hot water flowing in the thermal fluid circulation flow path, a preheater for heating the working fluid before flowing into the evaporator by the heat of the hot water flowing in the thermal fluid circulation flow path, and a control unit for controlling a startup operation of the thermal energy recovery device. The control unit executes a suppression control for suppressing a temperature difference between the hot water and the working fluid in the preheater.

Thermal energy recovery device and startup operation method for the same

A compression device is equipped with a compressor () and a heat energy recovery unit () that recovers heat energy from a compressed gas. The heat energy recovery unit () is equipped with: a heat exchanger () that has an inflow port (), and that heats an operating medium by means of the heat from the compressed gas; an expansion device (); a power recovery unit (); a condenser (); and a pump (). The heat exchanger () is arranged closer to the compressor () than the expansion device (), and is oriented such that the inflow port () faces the compressor ().

Compression device

A compressing device of the present invention comprises a compressor, a heat exchanger, an expander, a power recovery unit, a condenser, a pump, a bypass flow passage for bypassing the expander, and a bypass valve. When a bypass condition for allowing a working medium to circulate through the bypass flow passage is satisfied, the bypass valve is caused to be opened, thereby allowing the working medium to circulate between the heat exchanger and the condenser through the bypass flow passage. As a result, a compressed gas discharged from the compressor is cooled by the working medium in the heat exchanger. This configuration makes it possible to cool the compressed gas by the working medium in the heat exchanger regardless of operation conditions of the expander.

A heat sink includes a base, to which an LED element is attached, and a plate-shaped heat dissipating surface integrally and continuously formed with the base around the LED element. The base and the plate-shaped heat dissipating surface are formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy having a specific thermal conductivity &#x3bb; and a specific surface emissivity &#x3b5;. When the plate thickness of the base and the plate-shaped heat dissipating surface is specified in a range from 0.8 to 6 mm, a total projected area of the heat dissipating surfaces of the heat sink is specified in a range from 19000 to 60000 mmso as to obtain a heat resistance of 4.0 K/W or smaller. An energy recovery device includes a plurality of heat exchangers connected in parallel with each other into which a plurality of heat sources flow, an expander for expanding a working medium, a dynamic power recovery unit, a condenser, a pump for sending the working medium which has flown out from the condenser to the plurality of heat exchangers, and a regulator for regulating inflow rates of the working medium flowing into the plurality of heat exchangers. The regulator regulates the inflow rates of the liquid phase working medium flowing into the plurality of respective heat exchangers such that a difference of temperatures or a difference of degrees of superheat of the gas phase working medium which has flown out from the plurality of respective heat exchangers falls within a certain range. Thereby, heat energy can be efficiently recovered from the plurality of heat sources having temperatures different from each other.

A power generation apparatus according to the present invention includes: an induction generator; a switch that opens or closes an electrical connection path connecting the induction generator to an electrical path in which an alternating current of a predetermined frequency flows; a control unit that controls the opening and closing state of the switch; and an expander that rotationally drives the induction generator by a working medium supplied thereto. In order to suppress a starting current generated when starting the induction generator while suppressing an increase in cost, the control unit closes the switch after the working medium is supplied to the expander so that the expander starts to rotationally drive the induction generator.
