An object is to curb damage localized in a slag capturing portion caused when slag passes therethrough. A slag discharge device includes: a screen mesh () that is a porous member including a plurality of through-holes () formed therein; and a crushing device () that crushes water-granulated slag (S) captured by the screen mesh (). The crushing device has a crusher head () that breaks, with a pressure, and thus crushes the water-granulated slag (S), a hydraulic cylinder () that reciprocates the crusher head in a predetermined direction, a guide plate () that restricts movement of the crusher head caused by the hydraulic cylinder, and a plurality of crushing spaces () in which the water-granulated slag (S) is crushed. A communication opening that causes the crushing spaces () to communicate with each other is formed in a partitioning wall guide plate () of the guide plate.

A filter backwashing unit is disposed in a path in which process gas flows to remove at least a part of trapped dust included in a process gas by backwashing an element of a filter device that traps the dust when a process gas passes. The filter backwashing unit includes a gas injection device disposed downstream of the element in a flow direction of a process gas to inject backwashing gas toward the element from downstream; a parameter detection device configured to detect a parameter used for determination of a state of dust adhering to the element; and a control device configured to estimate a thickness of dust deposited on a surface of the element upstream of a process gas based on a result of the detection, and determine an interval at which the element is backwashed based on the estimated thickness of the dust.

Filter backwashing unit, char recovery unit, method of filter backwashing, and integrated gasification combined cycle

A char discharge unit is for discharging char discharged from a filtration unit into a char storage unit in which a pressure is at least temporarily higher pressure than that in the filtration unit. The char discharge unit includes a char discharge line connected to a lower side of the filtration unit in a vertical direction and connected to the char storage unit; a lock hopper installed at an intermediary point of the char discharge line to temporarily store the char; an admission valve installed in the char discharge line between the lock hopper and the filtration unit; a control valve installed in the char discharge line between the lock hopper and the char storage unit; and a control device configured to close the control valve when the admission valve is open, and to close the admission valve when the control valve is open.

Char discharge unit, char recovery unit including char discharge unit, char discharge method, and integrated gasification combined cycle

A char recycling system capable of easily determining whether or not a char exhausting pipe is blocked by char. The char recycling system comprises: a stand pipe () forming a vertically-downwards flowpath () through which char is conveyed; and a differential pressure gauge () that measures the pressure difference between the pressure in a downstream area () in the vertically-downwards flowpath () and the pressure in an upstream area () in the vertically-downwards flowpath (). The pressure difference fluctuates when char accumulates between the downstream area () and the upstream area () in the vertically-downwards flowpath (). As a result, this kind of char recovery system is capable of easily determining whether or not the vertically-downwards flowpath () is blocked by char, on the basis of the measured pressure difference.

Char recycling system and char conveyance method

This powder transport device comprises: transport pipe () that can transport powder by way of gravity by having a prescribed angle of inclination; a porous plate () that is disposed along the transport pipe () so as to divide a line cross section into a top section and bottom section and form a powder line () in the top section; an inert gas supply line for fluidization () that is provided under the porous plate () and supplies an assist gas (g) to the powder line () through the porous plate (); and a deposit status monitoring device () that constantly monitors the state of the powder deposited on the top face side of the porous plate () in the powder line ().

Powder transport device and char recovery device

A powder conveyance device and a char recovery apparatus are each provided with: an inclination part serving as a powder discharge line which can convey char at a predetermined tilt angle by allowing the char to fall by gravity; a first porous plate having a predetermined opening ratio and being disposed along the inclination part; a second porous plate having a higher opening ratio than the first porous plate and being disposed along the inclination part at a position above the first porous plate; and an assist gas feed device for feeding assist gas to the inclination part through both the first porous plate and the second porous plate.
