An object of the present invention is to improve, in the raw material rubber compound particularly using a silica-based filler, which is used for tire tread, the balance between the rolling resistance and the skid resistance on a wet road surface and at the same time, improve the wear resistance is enhanced. The present invention provides an oil-extended polymer composition comprising 100 parts by weight of (A) a polymer having a number average molecular weight Mn of 500,000 to 700,000 and a content of a functional group-containing polymer component to be adsorbed to silica of 50 wt % or more, and from 20 to 60 parts by weight of (B) an extender oil.

A slider is slightly moved in a direction in which both side surfaces of the slider come in contact with inclined surfaces of impact mitigating parts of neighboring contact strip pieces. For this reason, the inclined surface of the impact mitigating part of the contact strip piece which the slider approaches is relatively downwardly slid with respect to one side surface of the slider. In addition, the inclined surface of the impact mitigating part of the contact strip piece from which the slider moves away is relatively upwardly slid with respect to the other side surface of the slider. A modified conjugated diene polymer comprises a modifying group based on a low molecular weight compound having two or more tertiary amino groups and one or more alkoxysilyl groups in a molecule which bonds to a conjugated diene polymer obtained by polymerization of a conjugated diene compound or a conjugated diene polymer obtained by copolymerization of a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound. A process for producing a conjugated diene polymer composition, which comprises of polymerizing a conjugated diene compound or a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of organoalkali metals and organoalkaline earth metals as an initiator and then reacting the active end of the resulting polymer with a low molecular compound represented by the following formula (1) or the following formula (2): wherein the variables R through Rare as defined in the Specification.

Conjugated diene polymer and process for production thereof

The present invention provides rubber compositions having an excellent transparency and rubber properties comprising a rubbery polymer and an inorganic filler, and relates to specific methods of producing said rubber. Thus, they are rubber compositions comprising 100 parts by weight of at least one rubbery polymer and 5&#x2013;150 parts by weight of an inorganic filler per 100 parts by weight of said rubbery polymer, wherein the haze is 50% or less, and the inorganic bulking agents are dispersed so that the number of circular regions with a diameter of 0.5 &#x3bc;m or greater having no inorganic fillers is one or less and the number of circular regions with a diameter of 0.3 &#x3bc;m or greater having no inorganic fillers is three or less in an image of a 5 &#x3bc;m square of said rubber composition determined by a scanning probe microscope (SPM) and wherein the haze of said rubber composition having a thickness of 5 mm is 50% or less, and specific methods of producing them.

Rubber composition and process for production thereof

A diene polymer rubber composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a raw material rubber comprising (A-1) a diene rubbery polymer which is a conjugated diene rubber polymer or conjugated diene-styrene rubbery copolymer (1) containing a modified component in an amount exceeding 60 wt. %, which modified component is obtained by reacting an active end of the rubbery polymer with a polyfunctional compound having, in its molecule, at least two epoxy groups, (2) having a molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn of 1.05 to 3.0, and (3) having weight-average molecular weight of 100,000 to 2,000,000; and based on 100 parts of the component (A), (B) 1&#x2013;100 parts by weight of rubber extension oil, (C) 25&#x2013;100 parts by weight of reinforcing silica, and (D) 1.0 to 20 parts by weight in total of a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanizing accelerator.

Rubber composition

The present invention provides a diene rubber composition having excellent processability and being improved in both the balance between low rolling resistance and wet skid resistance, and strength properties. The composition according to the invention is a diene polymer rubber composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a raw material rubber comprising (A-1) a diene rubbery polymer which is a conjugated diene rubbery polymer or a conjugated diene-styrene rubbery copolymer (1) containing a modified component in an amount exceeding 60 wt. %, which modified component is obtained by reacting an active end of the rubbery polymer with a polyfunctional compound having, in its molecule thereof, at least two epoxy groups, (2) having a molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn of 1.05 to 3.0, and (3) having a weight-average molecular weight of 100,000 to 2,000,000; and, based on 100 parts of the component (A), (B) 1 to 100 parts by weight of a rubber extension oil, (C) 25 to 100 parts by weight of reinforcing silica, and (D) 1.0 to 20 parts by weight in total of a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanizing accelerator.

Rubber compositions

A method for tracking, in a roaming receiver, RF channels in a multi-area system where each area has a unique RF channel and each unique RF channel has a unique address for each user. A plurality of telephone area codes are stored into a memory of the receiver with each of the telephone area codes corresponding to a different RF channel within the multi-area system. An address from the RF channel which is unique to the receiver for that specific RF channel is received by the receiver, each address corresponding to one of the stored telephone area codes. A telephone area code corresponding to the address is then retrieved from the receiver memory, and the telephone area code is displayed in a receiver display to allow a user to quickly recognize which area of the multi-area system the receiver is located within.
