A wearable camera system includes a wearable camera, an in-car recorder, and an in-car camera. One of the in-car recorder and the wearable camera transmits video recording starting information including information indicating that video recording has been started to the other of the in-car recorder and the wearable camera when one of the in-car recorder and the wearable camera starts the video recording. The other of the in-car recorder and the wearable camera starts video recording after the video recording starting information is received.

Wearable camera system, and video recording control method for wearable camera system

Wearable camera system and recording control method

A contact terminal is provided with a charging port to which a charging voltage is applied and a CON.DET port which detects a voltage change. In a case where a plug of a charging cable is connected to the contact terminal, the charging port and the CON.DET port are electrically connected to each other via the charging cable so that a signal level in the CON.DET port reaches an 'H' level. In a case where the plug of the charging cable is removed from the contact terminal, the charging voltage is not applied to the CON.DET port so that a signal level in the CON.DET port changes from an 'H' level to an &#x201c;L&#x201d; level, and thus recording of image information output from an imaging unit of the camera is started.
