A reversal development processing method for black and white silver halide photographic light-sensitive materials which comprises bleaching an imagewise exposed black and white silver halide photographic light-sensitive material with a bleaching solution containing at least one oxidizing agent capable of forming a water-soluble silver salt when reacted with the silver images of said exposed light-sensitive material in the presence of at least one bleach accelerating agent selected from the compounds represented by the general formulae (I) to (VIII) described in the specification.

Reversal processing methods for black and white photographic

A color photographic process is described for a silver halide photographic material having at least a silver halide emulsion layer containing a dye-forming coupler, comprising developing in a color developer solution containing components (1) an aromatic primary amino color developing agent, (2) a 1-aryl-3-pyrazolidone compound having two substituents at the 4-position, and (3) at least one compound selected from compounds represented by formulae (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein X represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; R represents a carboxylic acid group, a water-soluble carboxylic acid salt group, a water-soluble carboxylic acid ester group, or a water-soluble carboxylic acid amide group; m is 1 or 2; and n is 0 or 1; and then fixing by an acid hardening fix solution.

Color photographic process

A process for the recovery of silver from a fixing solution used in processing silver halide photographic light-sensitive materials wherein an electrolytic cell having a cathodic cell and an anodic cell separated by a diaphragm is used; silver is recovered from the used fixing solution in the cathodic cell and the anodic cell is filled with a fixing solution which has been used or not used in photographic processing, or an electrolyzed fixing solution.

Process for the recovery of silver from fixing solutions

An electrolytic cell for recovering a metal from a solution has a diaphragm between a cathode and an anode. The diaphragm is supported by a support frame composed of a number of support columns. At least two of the support columns are made hollow in structure. A solution supply port is provided in at least one of the hollow support columns and a solution take-out port is provided in each of the remaining hollow support columns.

Electrolytic cell

A method for processing a photographic light-sensitive material, which comprises developing an exposed silver halide photographic material in a developer containing a developing agent and a dialdehyde compound, and fixing the material in a fixing solution containing (1) a thiosulfate, (2) a water-soluble aluminum salt and (3) at least 0.005 mol/liter of tartaric acid, or a salt thereof, citric acid or a salt thereof, or a mixture thereof.
