A print device includes a processor and a memory. The memory storing computer-readable instructions which, when executed by the processor, perform processes. The processes include covering processing controlling a cap into a covering state in which the cap covers a nozzle. The processes include first purge processing purging, in a state in which the cap is in the covering state and a supply valve is closed, an ink from the nozzle by operating a pump at a first rotation speed. The processes include injection processing injecting, after the first purge processing and in a state in which the cap is in the covering state and the supply valve is open, the cleaning liquid into the interior of the cap by operating the pump at a second rotation speed to cause the cleaning liquid to soak a nozzle face.

Print device

A maintenance member includes a plate, an absorption member, and a protection plate. The plate includes a first face and is configured to be mounted in a print device. The absorption member is fixed on the first face and has absorbed a liquid. The edge surface of the absorption member is exposed in an extension direction of the first face. The protection plate is fixed in place such that a gap is provided between the protection plate and the absorption member. The protection plate is configured to protect the absorption member from contact.

Maintenance member

A print device includes a processor, and a memory. The processor performs processes. The processes include a covering control processing controlling the cap into a covering state in which the cap covers the nozzle. The processes include supply processing supplying, after the covering control processing, the cleaning liquid to the cap from the supply flow path. The processes include hold processing holding, after the supply processing and in a state in which the cleaning liquid has soaked the nozzle face, the cleaning liquid in the cap. The processes include first determination processing determining, after the hold processing, whether a print request has been received. The processes include discharge processing discharging, in a case where a power on signal has been detected or in a case where the first determination processing has determined that the print request has been received, the cleaning liquid that has been held in the cap.

A printing device includes a head portion, a receptacle portion, an absorption member, a discharge outlet, and a plurality of extended wall portions. The head portion includes a nozzle face having a nozzle. The absorption member is supported by the receptacle portion, is provided to absorb the liquid, and has a through-hole. The through-hole extends through the absorption member between a first face and a second face in an orthogonal direction to the nozzle face. The first face is an opposite side to the second face. The second face faces the nozzle face in the orthogonal direction. The discharge outlet is provided in a bottom wall portion of the receptacle portion and is continuous with an outside of the receptacle portion. The bottom wall portion extends along the nozzle face. The extended wall portions project from the bottom wall portion to the nozzle face side and support the first face.

Printing device

A head includes a nozzle face having a nozzle discharging a first liquid. A wiper contacts to the nozzle face and moves in relation to the nozzle face. An absorption member moistened by a second liquid absorbs the first liquid adhered to the wiper while moving in relation to the wiper and has a contact portion and a surface groove. The contact portion is provided on a side of an absorption face of the absorption member so as to come into contact with the wiper. The absorption face is a face on a side of the absorption member facing the wiper. The surface groove is provided on an absorption face side. The surface groove is recessed in a direction apart from the wiper than the contact portion and extends along an extending direction in which an edge on an absorption member side of the wiper extends.

Printer

A printer includes a head, a wiper, a cap, a supply flow path, a supply opening/closing valve, a gas channel, a gas opening/closing valve, a waste fluid flow path, a suction portion, and a processor. The processor is configured to set a covered state in which the cap covers the at least one nozzle, supply the cleaning fluid to the cap, in the covered state, by opening the supply opening/closing valve, closing the gas opening/closing valve, and driving the suction portion, discharge the cleaning fluid, in the covered state, by closing the supply opening/closing valve, opening the gas opening/closing valve, and driving the suction portion, set an uncovered state in which covering the at least one nozzle by the cap is released, and cause the wiper to slide in contact with the nozzle surface, in the uncovered state, by moving the wiper relatively with respect to the nozzle surface.

Printer with a cleanable nozzle surface

A printer includes a head portion, a wiper, a wiper support portion, an urging portion, an inclined portion, an engagement portion, and a guide wall portion. The head portion includes a nozzle surface including a nozzle configured to eject liquid. The nozzle surface extends in a first direction and an orthogonal direction. The wiper is configured to contact with the nozzle surface. The wiper support portion supports the wiper. The urging portion is configured to urge the wiper in a second direction. The first protrusion portion is provided on the wiper support portion. The inclined portion is configured to move the wiper between a contact position and a separated position in accordance with movement of the inclined portion. The engagement portion is configured to engage with the first protrusion portion. The guide wall portion is configured to guide the movement of the wiper.

A printer includes a cap member, a head, a suction pump, a first electromagnetic valve, and a waste liquid flow path including a first flow path portion and a second flow path portion. The cap member seals a discharge surface in the head. The suction pump is connected to the waste liquid flow path and puts it into a negative pressure state. The first electromagnetic valve connects the cap member and the suction pump, cuts off the connection between the cap member and the waste liquid flow path, and includes a first wall portion. The first wall portion includes a side face portion on which an inflow opening and an outflow opening are formed. The inflow opening connects to the first flow path portion. The outflow opening connects to the second flow path portion and is disposed farther in the direction of the force of gravity than the inflow opening.

An ink cartridge includes an ink bag that is configured to store ink inside, a spout that is provided on the ink bag and that includes a hollow portion leading from a first opening to a second opening, and a case that houses the ink bag and that includes an inclined surface portion and an penetration portion, the inclined surface portion being a surface portion disposed obliquely in relation to an axial direction of the spout, the penetration portion being provided in the inclined surface portion and being opposite the second opening, each of the two layers of the sheets extending substantially parallel to a virtual plane that includes an axial line of the spout and that forms a right angle with the inclined surface portion, and the leading end portion of the spout being positioned inside of the case than is an outer face of the inclined surface portion.

A wire cut electric discharge machine that includes a machining tank storing a machining fluid, an upper arm disposed at an upper portion of the machining tank, a lower arm inserted into the machining tank, a wire electrode extending between the upper arm and the lower arm for performing electric discharge machining on a workpiece placed fixedly in the machining tank, a support member mounted to the machining tank for supporting the lower arm such that the lower arm is slidable relative to the machining tank and sealed from the machining tank, and an O-ring interposed between the lower arm and the support member. The support member has a groove formed all around its inner circumference, and the O-ring makes contact with sidewalls of the groove. Accordingly, even when the outside diameter of the O-ring varies depending on an error in diameter of the lower arm, contact between the sidewalls and the O-ring remains unchanged and fluid-tightness can be reliably ensured.
