An electric storage device includes a storage module and a mounting plate. The storage module includes a plurality of storage cells stacked in a stacking direction and has an end surface in the stacking direction. The storage module is mounted on the mounting plate. The mounting plate includes a fastening part and a displacement absorbing part. The storage module is connected to the mounting plate at the fastening part. The displacement absorbing part absorbs displacement of the storage module in the stacking direction. The fastening part is provided between the displacement absorbing part and the end surface of the storage module in the stacking direction.

Vehicle battery unit

In a vehicle battery unit, since a second support plate (B) and a second end plate (B) of a second battery module (B) having a plurality of battery cells () stacked are placed on top of a first support plate (A) and a first end plate (A) of a first battery module (A) having a plurality of the battery cells (), it is possible to prevent the weight of the second battery module (B) from being imposed on the battery cells () of the first battery module (A). Moreover, since it is not necessary to provide on the exterior of the first battery module (A) a member for supporting the weight of the second battery module (B), it is possible to reduce the dimensions of the first battery module (A).

In a vehicle having rear seats which can be swung up, a vehicle electric equipment mounting structure is provided which can ensure a sufficient space at a rear part of the vehicle which allows passengers to walk therethrough while arranging vehicle driving electric motor-related electric equipment at the rear part of the vehicle. Third row seatswhich can be swung up towards side wallsare provided at a rear part of a vehicle. Vehicle electric equipment mounting structure

A hybrid vehicle is provided in which a case () for housing an electrical component including at least a battery module is disposed underneath a floor of a luggage compartment interposed between left and right rear side frames () immediately to the rear of a fuel tank () disposed beneath a floor panel () of a hybrid vehicle, and a canister () is disposed on one of left and right sides of the case (). Hybrid vehicle

Disclosed is a vehicle wiring structure that uses a power cable to connect a power source and an electrical load disposed, inside a vehicle, with a space therebetween in the vehicle front-to-back direction. The vehicle wiring structure is provided with a metal pipe () which is disposed on vehicle floor under surface (), between a position below where the power source is installed and a position below where the electrical load is installed, and two ends of which are inserted into the vehicle, and a power cable that is inserted through the metal pipe () and connects the power source and the electrical load. The metal pipe () is provided slanting from the two ends toward a bottommost part (), in the vertical direction, and the bottommost part () is heated by heat released from CAT ().

Vehicle wiring structure

A vehicle wiring structure equipped with a pipe (), the two ends of which are inserted into the vehicle through an electrical-load-side through-hole and a power-source-side through-hole provided in the floor, and power cables (), which are inserted in the pipe () and connect a power source and electrical loads. The power cables pulled out of the end part of the pipe () inserted through the power-source-side through-hole () are restrained by a first cable guide () provided inside the vehicle and are wired to a power source connection part, while the end part of the pipe () inserted through the power-source-side through-hole () reaches as far as the position where the first cable guide () is provided. The pipe () is supported by a through-hole seal member () that has a pipe through-hole () through which the pipe () passes and that closes the power-source-side through-hole ().

A battery box housing a battery is mounted between left and right side frames extending in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle body so that the battery box is offset to a left side of the vehicle body, and an intake duct and an exhaust duct for cooling air for cooling the battery are connected to an end of the battery box on a right side of the vehicle body. Therefore, it is possible not only to protect the battery between the left and right frames from a shock caused upon a side collision, but also to ensure a space for disposition of the intake duct and the exhaust duct while ensuring a volume of the battery box to the maximum. Moreover, the battery box is connected at its left and right ends to the left and right side frames.

Power source device and battery cooling structure for vehicle

The present invention aims to cool high tension electrical equipment efficiently with a small, lightweight device. The high tension electrical equipment cooling structure is provided for cooling batteries which supply electricity to the operating motor via an inverter, and the inverter using cooling air, and comprises an equipment box for guiding cooling air introduced from a cooling air inlet port into a cooling air outlet port, and a fan for introducing cooling air from the cooling air inlet port. A shutter that consists of an elastic material is disposed inside the intake duct. The shutter closes off the cooling air flow path, and when negative pressure is generated downstream of the shutter due to the operation of the fan, the shutter undergoes elastic deformation, and as a result, the cooling air flow path is opened.

Cooling structure for high tension electrical equipment

In a battery cooling structure, a battery case housing a large number of battery modules is formed into the shape of a rectangular tube having a cooling air inlet and a cooling air outlet, and V-shaped cooling air guide channels having a decreasing flow-path cross sectional area are provided on inner faces of air guide plates that define upper and lower faces of the rectangular tube. The flow of cooling air is deflected by these V-shaped cooling air guide channels toward a central part on the downstream side, thus effectively cooling the battery modules disposed in the central part, for which the cooling effect is poor to make uniform the temperature of the battery modules, resulting in a suppressed variation in capacity and lifetime. Moreover, since it is not necessary to provide a bypass passage in the battery case, it is possible to simplify the structure of the battery case, reduce the dimensions, and improve the degree of freedom in the layout.

Battery cooling structure

A rear seat is foldable by moving downward a seat cushion and folding forward a seat back. A power source unit is disposed below a rear floor to the rear of the rear seat. When the rear seat is in an unfolded state, cooling air can be introduced from inside a vehicle compartment, through a space between a lower surface of the seat cushion and an upper surface of an underseat floor, into a cooling-air introduction port in the power source unit. When the rear seat is in a folded state, the cooling air is introduced from inside the vehicle compartment, through cooling-air introduction passages, into the cooling-air introduction port. Thus, the power source unit can be cooled irrespective of whether the rear seat is in the folded state, without reducing the foldability of the rear seat.
