An air filter includes a honeycomb rotor which carries a porous adsorbent and can be rotated in a circumferential direction, a drive means for rotating the honeycomb rotor, a first partition member provided with a first gas introduction section and a second gas exhaust section and a second partition member provided with a first gas exhaust section and a second gas introduction section, the first and second partition members being disposed on both sides of the honeycomb rotor respectively to allow two gases to flow in counter current to each other and to pass through different conduits respectively, a heater disposed at the inlet port of the first gas introduction section, a drive controller for controlling the drive means such that the honeycomb rotor can rotate intermittently by every part of a regenerative/purge-zone facing the first gas introduction section among the surface of the filter of the honeycomb rotor.

Air filter

A sound absorbing structure comprising at least one porous member including a plurality of holes, and the holes are at least one kind of through holes and non-through holes. It is preferable that a plurality of porous members are stacked. It is also preferable that the holes of porous members are formed as diameter-varied holes, and an area of opening of each diameter-varied hole formed in the surface opposite to a sound source is largest and the area of opening of each the diameter-varied hole is reduced in a direction of the thickness of the porous member. Moreover, it is also preferable that the sound absorbing structure further comprises a coating film formed on at least a surface of the porous member which is opposite to a sound source wherein the holes penetrates the coating film and the porous member.

The honeycomb structure of the present invention is formed from a nonwoven fabric in which a biologically soluble fiber is used, and exhibits superior biological solubility and high heat resistance.

A dehumidifying material comprising: 90.0 parts by weight to 99.9 parts by weight of silicon dioxide which is silica gel; and 0.1 part by weight to 10.0 parts by weight of an iron oxide or a mixture of the iron oxide and another metal oxide and a dehumidifying element incorporating an inorganic fiber sheet supporting the dehumidifying material, the dehumidifying material being obtained by allowing alkali silicate or alkokysilane to adhere to an inorganic fiber sheet to gel the inorganic fiber sheet, by immersing the inorganic fiber sheet in solution containing iron salt or iron and other metal salt and by drying the inorganic fiber sheet.
