Ceiling traveling vehicle system and method for detecting obstacle

A traveling vehicle system includes a track including a first gap, a partial track, and a second gap, a traveling vehicle including a drive wheel and first and second auxiliary wheels, a first auxiliary track on a near side of the first gap in a traveling direction and in contact with a lower end of the first auxiliary wheel while a lower end of the drive wheel passes through the first gap when the drive wheel enters the partial track, and a second auxiliary track on a far side of the second gap in the traveling direction and in contact with a lower end of the second auxiliary wheel while the lower end of the drive wheel passes through the second gap when the drive wheel leaves the partial track.

Traveling vehicle system

A traveling vehicle system includes a track and a ceiling traveling vehicle. The track includes a first track, a second track, and a connection track. The ceiling traveling vehicle includes a direction changer that turns a coupler, which couples a traveling wheel and a main body to each other and passes through a gap between the first track or the second track and the connection track. A guider is provided in the coupler, moves along a first guide surface in a first state in which the traveling wheel rolls on the first track, and moves along a second guide surface in a second state in which the traveling wheel rolls on the second track.

The object is to provide a vehicle system capable of suppressing a decrease in article transport efficiency while ensuring a route of an operator. The vehicle system includes a grid-patterned rail, a vehicle traveling on the rail, a controller that controls the vehicle, a work terminal that transmits identification information indicating an actual location to the controller, and a scaffold for allowing an operator carrying the work terminal to walk below the rail, the scaffold being provided below the rail. If entry permission to one or more cells formed by the rail is obtained from the controller, the vehicle enters the one or more cells. If entry permission to the one or more cells is not obtained from the controller, the vehicle does not enter the one or more cells. The controller performs blocking so as not to grant the vehicle the entry permission at least to a cell corresponding to the actual location indicated by the identification information transmitted from the work terminal, among a plurality of cells corresponding to a route of the operator from the entrance to the scaffold to the destination.

An overhead traveling vehicle system having an overhead traveling vehicle includes a main body, at least an upper surface of which is of a rectangular shape as viewed in a plan view, and a traveling wheel provided in each of four corners on the upper surface of the main body and rolls on a traveling surface of a track, the main body being arranged below the track by connectors each extending downwardly from the traveling wheel, wherein the overhead traveling vehicle includes charging electrodes on the upper surface of the main body, and a charger is arranged in a space above the traveling surface, at least a part of which overlaps with a movement space for the traveling wheels as viewed in a side view, and does not overlap with the movement space as viewed in a plan view.

A ceiling conveyance vehicle includes a traveling wheel to roll on a track including a first track and a second track and a main body below the track and coupled to the traveling wheel. The ceiling conveyance vehicle includes a direction changer to change between a first state in which the traveling wheel rolls on the first track and a second state in which the traveling wheel rolls on the second track, with an orientation of the main body with respect to the track maintained, an article holder capable of holding an article, a hoisting-and-lowering driver to hoist and lower the article holder, a lateral slider to slidingly move the hoisting-and-lowering driver in a horizontal, linear direction, and a first rotational driver to rotationally drive the lateral slider around a first perpendicular axis with respect to the main body.

Retrieving device and storing device

A supporting device includes a supporting member including a first positioning member positioning a bottom of a first article and inhibiting horizontal movement of the first article, and a second positioning member positioning a bottom of a second article and inhibiting horizontal movement of the second article. The first and second positioning members release the articles when elevated. The supporting device includes a first anti-drop member preventing the first article from being elevated and released and a second anti-drop member preventing the second article from being elevated and released. The first positioning member is higher than the second positioning member. The end of the first article closer to the first and second anti-drop members is nearer or equally distant to the first and second anti-drop members than a corresponding end of the second article. The second anti-drop member is retracted from the end of the first article when the first positioning member positions the first article.

Supporting device and supporting method for articles

A support device on which two types of articles that differ in size are positioned and placed is provided. A first article and a second article having a larger bottom portion than that of the first article are to be placed on a placing surface of a support device. A first positioning member protruding from the placing surface for positioning the bottom portion of the first article and a second positioning member protruding from the placing surface for positioning the second article are provided. The first positioning member is arranged at a position where interference with the second article is prevented when the second article is positioned on the placing surface by the second positioning member, and the second positioning member is arranged at a position where interference with the first article is prevented when the first article is positioned on the placing surface by the first positioning member.

Article support device and method for placing two types of articles on support device

A mounting port that allows an article to be relayed between a worker and a conveying apparatus or a processing device in a clean room includes a shutter that raises little or no dust and has a simple opening and closing mechanism. The mounting port includes an article mounting stand, an apparatus-side opening that allows a conveying apparatus or a processing device to pass an article to and from the mounting stand, a passageway-side opening that faces a worker passageway, shutters that are provided at positions to open and close the apparatus-side opening and includes arc-shaped plates or plates, and a swing mechanism that swings the shutters between a state in which the apparatus-side opening is opened and a state in which the apparatus-side opening is closed.
