A method for measuring sea waves includes: transmitting ultrasonic waves from an ultrasonic transmitterprovided on a buoyinto the sea, and receiving the ultrasonic waves from three transponderson the seabed together with the time signals; detecting distances between the transpondersand the ultrasonic transmitterbased on the propagation time of the ultrasonic waves; high-pass filtering the distance data to extract a short-term fluctuation component; preparing and solving linear equations to determine the displacement in the height direction of the short-term fluctuation component and obtain a wave height.

Method for measuring sea waves by means of ultrasonic waves, as well as sea wave measuring system

In a position measuring method, GPS ranging data obtained at a reference stationand an observation stationis inputted to four solution calculating sections, RTK solutions such as a fix solution at the observation stationare calculated in the solution calculating sectionsaccording to the RTK system, and the RTK solutions are inputted to a solution obtaining unit. Further, it is decided whether or not the RTK solutions include multiple fix solutions. When it is decided that the RTK solutions include multiple fix solutions, deviations between the fix solutions are determined and it is decided whether or not the deviations exceed an allowable value. When it is decided that none of the deviations exceed the allowable value, predetermined arithmetic processing is performed on the fix solutions to obtain a normal fix solution. Moreover, the solution calculating sections are sequentially restarted at predetermined time intervals.

Position measuring device and position measuring method by means of GPS

A filling machine provided with a filling amount weighing apparatus which is used in a step of preparing medical supplies and so on, and continuously fills automatically powder, liquid or the like of a very small amount into a container such as vial, ampul or the like so as to weigh the filling amount, on the employment of an electronic balance to effect a weighing operation of high speed and precision so as to improve the filling amount accuracy through the reduction in dispersion in the filling amount.

Filling apparatus

A capsule positioning machine for supplying a plurality of capsules successively in a predetermined posture, which is useable with the capsules each composed of a container and a cap mounted thereon. The machine comprises a transport drum and an inverting drum both supported for rotation in the opposite directions at the same peripheral velocity and formed with a plurality of pockets. Each of the pockets in the transport drum is stepped to provide a large diameter portion of a diameter slightly greater than the outer diameter of the cap of each of the capsules and a reduced diameter portion of a diameter substantially equal to or slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the cap, but slightly greater than the outer diameter of the container. Any of the capsules received in the respective pockets in the transport drum with the container engaged in the reduced diameter portion can be transferred to the inverting drum thereby to invert the posture of the capsule.
