A power feeding control apparatus includes a housing for accommodating at least a relay unit which opens and closes power feeding lines, a control circuit for controlling the relay unit, a leakage current detection circuit for detecting leakage current in the electric vehicle and a power supply circuit for generating a control electric power. The apparatus further includes a power source side connector and a vehicle side connector. The leakage current detection circuit includes a zero current transformer through which the power feeding lines extend and is configured to detect leakage current based on unbalanced currents flowing through the power feeding lines. Lead plates constitute a part of the power feeding lines and pass through a central opening of the zero current transformer, and the zero current transformer includes a positioning member molded within the central opening to fix the positions of the lead plates.

Power feeding control apparatus

A power supply control device includes a body part in which a circuit block is accommodated; a first cable drawn outside from the body part to be connected to a charge circuit of an electric vehicle; a second cable drawn outside from the body part to be connected to a power source; and a sealing member sealing a gap between each of the cables and a corresponding cable passing port of the body part. The power supply control device further includes an outer restriction member provided at each of the cables on an outer side than the sealing member to prevent the corresponding cable from being bent.

Power supply control device

A power feeding control device is provided with a main body accommodating an electric circuit for controlling power supply to a motor vehicle from a power source. First and second cables to be connected to the motor vehicle and the power source extend from the longitudinally opposite ends of the main body, respectively. The second cable includes a plug having a plug body accommodating a second contact electrically connected to a first contact provided in the main body, and a retaining ring attached to the plug body such that the retaining ring is rotatable about an axial direction of the plug body while being restricted to move in the axial direction. By screwing the retaining ring onto a thread portion of the main body, the retaining body is detachably attached to the main body in the state that the second contact is electrically connected to the first contact.

Power feeding control device

A power feeding control apparatus includes a housing for accommodating at least a relay unit arranged on power feeding lines to open and close the power feeding lines, a control circuit for controlling the relay unit, a leakage current detection circuit for detecting leakage current in an electric vehicle and a power supply circuit for generating a control electric power. The apparatus further includes a power source side connector removably connected to a socket of an external power source, a vehicle side connector removably connected to a power receiving connector of the electric vehicle and a first and a second board that the power supply circuit and the control circuit are mounted, respectively. A power feeding line block provided separately from the first and the second board and having metal plates constituting the power feeding lines. The metal plates are insertion-molded in the power feeding line block.

A switch includes a movable contact slidable on a stationary contact and configured to be electrically connected to and disconnected from the at least one stationary contact. Lubricant is provided between the stationary contact and the movable contact. The stationary contact has a contact surface which is configured to contact the movable contact. The contact surface is rough to retain the lubricant thereon and to be electrically connected to the movable contact.

Sliding switch with lubricant and method for manufacturing the same

A control switch for an automatic vehicle transmission comprises a movable body turning in association with an operation of a gearshift lever of the automatic vehicle transmission provided in an automobile and a housing storing the movable body and having fixed contacts to be brought in and out of touch with movable contacts in consequence of the turn of the movable body. The control switch indicates a shift position of the automatic vehicle transmission in accordance with a position of the fixed contacts. Wherein a ventilation hole communicating interior to exterior of the housing is opened at a face at a side of the housing where the housing is mounted to the automobile.

Control switch for an automatic vehicle transmission

A molded article is formed by an injection molding method of embedding a workpiece within a resin by the use of a mold. The mold has a mold cavity, at least one supporting pin removably projecting into the mold cavity to support the workpiece in the mold cavity, and at least one gate for injecting the resin into the mold cavity. The supporting pin is forced against the workpiece to support the workpiece within the molded cavity. The resin is injected into the molded cavity through the gate. In the present method, the supporting pin is removed from the mold cavity after the workpiece is supported by pressure of the resin injected in the mold cavity. The injection of the resin is continued to fill a hole left in the mold cavity by removal of the supporting pin. After the injection is finished, the injected resin is hardened to obtain the molded article. This method is useful for integrally molding a conductive member with an electrically insulating resin to form a component of an electrical device, for example, a base plate or cover plate of an electrical rotary switch for detecting positions of an automatic transmission of an automobile.

Method of molding a resin article with an embedded workpiece

An electrical rotary switch in use with an automatic transmission for detecting the operative position of the transmission and controlling an electric circuit associated with the positions of the transmission. The switch comprises a switch casing composed of a base plate and a cover plate each formed of an electrically insulating material and provided in its interior surface with a plurality of fixed contacts. Supported between the base plate and the cover plate is an actuator which is rotatable about a rotation axis in response to the changing positions of the automatic transmission. The actuator has a coupling end to be interlocked with a control output shaft of the transmission which is provided to rotate in synchronism with changing positions of the transmission. The actuator has first and second opposed faces each confronting the interior surface of each one of the base plate and the cover plate, and carries first and second movable contacts respectively on the first and second faces for electrical conduction between selective ones of the fixed contacts on the individual plates depending upon a particular angular position of the actuator about the rotation axis. Also formed on the switch casing is a terminal assembly comprising a plurality of terminal pins leading from the individual fixed contacts for connection with the external electric circuits. The movable contacts are carried in slots in the actuator. A third moveable contact is used to energize the starter circuit when the park and neutral positions of the transmission are detected.

Electrical switch for detecting positions of an automatic transmission

A rotary type microswitch wherein a rotary handle member having at its body periphery a handle for driving a free end of a movable contact spring plate carrying a movable contact opposed to a stationary contact is rotatably borne at both axial ends between opposing side walls of a housing, and a lever member receiving an external operating force for rotating the handle member is coupled on a desired side of the housing to either one of the both ends of the handle member which are exposed to the exterior of the side walls. With the handle member thus providing a free selectivity in operating-force applying direction with respect to the both ends at which the member is borne, stably reliable switching operation is obtained. Such operation is further assured to be achieved with a smaller operating force due to the fact that a slidable card is inserted between the free end of the movable contact spring plate and the handle. A lever arm of the lever member has a bent end engaged in a receptive groove in a head part of the lever member disposed outside the housing so as to conform to the bent end. The lever includes a part transverse to the axis of the member and a part parallel to the axis. The engagement of the arm in the groove is locked by a cap easily fittable to the head part of the lever member but prevented from being easily detached.
