A suspension body for an elevator includes a core having a belt-like shape, and a covering layer. The core includes a load bearing layer. The load bearing layer is formed of an impregnation resin and a plurality of high-strength fibers. The covering layer covers at least a part of an outer periphery of the core. The plurality of high-strength fibers include a plurality of kinds of high-strength fibers.

Elevator, suspension body for the elevator, and manufacturing method for the suspension body

Provided is a rope including a load supporting member and a covering member covering an outer periphery of the load supporting member. The load supporting member includes: an impregnation material and reinforcement fiber bodies, which continuously extend in a longitudinal direction of the rope, are embedded in the impregnation material, and are configured to support a load acting in the longitudinal direction. The reinforcement fiber bodies include corrugated reinforcement fiber bodies which have, at least in part, a corrugated shape in a section parallel to the longitudinal direction. The corrugated reinforcement fiber bodies have such a length that a total length thereof given when the corrugated reinforcement fiber bodies are straightened is equal to or larger than 1.1 times a total length of the load supporting member.

Rope and elevator using same

A suspension body for an elevator includes a core having a belt-like shape, and a covering layer covering at least a part of an outer periphery of the core. The core includes a load bearing layer. The load bearing layer is formed of an impregnation resin and a plurality of high-strength fibers. Further, the load bearing layer is divided into a plurality of segment layers arranged apart from each other in a thickness direction of the core. An intermediate layer made of a material different from that for the load bearing layer is interposed between the segment layers adjacent to each other in the thickness direction of the core.

The impeller includes a blade formed either entirely or partially from fiber reinforced plastic, a boss member that supports the blade, a plate that presses a root portion of the blade against the boss member; and a fastening portion that fastens the boss member to the plate, wherein the root portion of the blade has an undercut shape, the boss member has an excavated portion, the excavated portion is shaped identically to all or a part of the undercut shape or shaped such that a gap is formed between the excavated shape and all or a part of the undercut shape, and the root portion of the blade is fastened by a fastening force via the boss portion and the plate in a condition where a clearance is provided between the boss member and the plate.
