A clip-on bracket for a cable outlet of a plug-in connector, wherein the clip-on bracket has a first end that can be brought into touching contact with a cable outlet of the plug-in connector, and wherein the clip-on bracket, has a second end that can be brought into touching contact with the cable outlet or with a cable sheath of the cable connected to the plug-in connector. The first end is connected to the second end via two webs, so that the cable outlet and/or the connected cable is only partially covered by the webs of the clip-on bracket.

A plug-in connection system for a two-piece plug-in connection, comprising a plug-in connector and a matching mating connector, wherein the plug-in connector includes a latching unit with latching hooks provided thereon, which engage in groove areas on the mating connector. Here, a plurality of groove areas is circumferentially provided on the mating connector implemented in a sleeve-type way, which are offset relative to each other by a certain distance ds in relation to the plug-in edge of the mating connector. In the case of groove areas which are arranged in multiple pairs on the external side of the plug-in sleeve, only one latching hook pair engages at any one time during the plug-in operation into a latching groove in the groove area, whereas the other latching hooks respectively remain on a sawtooth flank before or after the one occupied latching groove. Thus, a very sensitive slide-on latching up to the mutual stop of any desired contacts becomes possible and a complex reception of the contacts is no longer necessary. Unlatching is carried out by lifting the latching hooks engaging in the latching grooves while withdrawing the external sleeve of the plug-in connector out of the latching grooves by means of opening hooks.

For pressing the contact elements of multipolar plug-in connectors into boreholes on printed circuit boards, the contact elements are pressed-in in several steps, so that only some contact elements are pressed in during each step, while the remaining contact elements are pressed-in in other steps, such that the pressing-in force does not become excessively large and can be performed with conventional presses.

A pin-shaped contact element that can be fixed in printed circuit board boreholes, preferably in metallized printed circuit board boreholes, has a fastening section with two parallel side parts that can move elastically towards one another and a gradually tapering insertion region, the elasticity of the insertion region being increased by providing in the insertion region an opening which runs transversely to the connecting web of the side parts and interrupts this connecting web in the transition or connecting region to the lower end of the pin.

Low voltage current contacts should have good tarnish resistance and resistance to wear at the smallest possible gold content. Such materials consist of 330 to 50 wt. % palladium, 18 to 48 wt. % silver, 19 to 33 wt. % gold, 0.01 to 1 wt. % iridium, osmium, or a mixture of iridium and osmium and either 0.5 to 5 wt. % lead or a mixture of 0.5 to 3 wt. % lead and 0.1 to 3 wt. % tin.
