A flight passenger seating device comprising a backrest having a first backrest unit. The backrest has a second backrest unit and a bearing unit which movably receives the second backrest unit relative to the first backrest unit.

An aircraft passenger seat with seat components, such as a seating piece and a backrest () includes a back support structure () supporting a backrest cushion (). On the back face of the support structure a food table may be folded against the same and extended into an in-use position. A pocket-like container (), for housing useful objects, such as printed products () and traveling utensilsis arranged on the support structure. The container () is formed by a cavity, extending in the support structure () of the backrest (), at least partly between the folded food table () and the backrest cushion ().

Aircraft passenger seat

A seat, especially an airplane or vehicle seat, has a seat part placed on the stand-type seat structure () in relation to a base and provided with a bearing part () on its front side. The bearing part () is embodied in a flexible manner and can move in the direction of the seat structure () when a predefined seating load is exerted on it. When the load is discharged, it can move back into its initial position in the opposite direction from the seat structure (). This arrangement creates a seat whose front part is maintained in a flexible manner such that the front area of the seat part yields according to the seating load exerted by the seat user. The pressure forces are limited to the lower side of the upper thighs of the seat user. As a result, the cross-sections of the veins in that region are not reduced, but are maintained such that the circulation of the blood is not impeded, significantly reducing the risk of thrombosis.

A head rest for a seat, especially an air passenger seat, includes a carrier structure that can be applied to the back rest part of the seat and includes a supporting structure for supporting the head of the seat passenger. The supporting structure has individual strand-type or strip-type supporting parts () with a pre-defined flexibility. A second supporting structure in the form of padding is arranged on the first supporting The padding has a flexibility that is different from that of the supporting parts () of the first supporting structure, and at least the supporting structures are provided with an outer coating structure.

Disclosed is a passenger seat, especially an airline passenger seat, comprising seat components such as a seat part, a backrest, and an armrest (), at least one of which is movably disposed relative to the other seat components to adjust the position, and a partition () that can be transferred between an operational position in which the same extends in a lateral shielding area of the seat and a non-operational position in which the same unblocks the shielding area. The partition is composed of several wall parts () which extend in the shielding area in the operational position and interact via a guiding device () such that the movement of one wall part () during the transfer between the non-operational and the operational position entrains another wall part ().

A passenger seat, an aircraft passenger seat in particular, has seat components such as a seat element (), a backrest (), and an arm rest (). At least one component is mounted so as to be movable for adjustment of its position in relation to that of other seat components. A partition () is movable at option into a use position in which it extends into a lateral screen area of the seat and into a non-use position in which it clears the screen area. The partition () is connected to an associated arm rest () and may be moved between a non-use position and a use position by movement of the arm rest (), changing the adjusted position of the arm rest ().

A table unit for seats in vehicles, especially airplane seats, includes a first table element () provided with the functions of a table, and a second table element () provided with at least one other table function. Both table elements () can be rotated relative to each other about a first pivotal axis () by a hinge (), and can be fixed in a predetermined position. Various table functions can be integrated in a single table unit since both table elements () can be rotated about a pivotal axis () by another joint (), and can be fixed in a predetermined position. The possible table surface and position thereof can be varied in such that certain table functions are protected and service personnel can have access to them.
