A component for attaching a cable to a housing member includes an attachment section having an attachment element and a cable clamping section integrally connected to the attachment section. The cable clamping section has a tubular shape and forms a cable tunnel. The cable clamping section has a clamping tongue that is deflectable into the cable tunnel.

A mat seal for an electrical connector includes a plurality of through-holes extending in a through-hole direction through the mat seal, a grid of a first material having a plurality of grid meshes, the grid is arranged with the through-holes extending through the grid meshes, a first material layer of a second material disposed on a first side of the grid, and a second material layer of a third material disposed on a second side of the grid opposite the first side. The first material of the grid has a greater compression modulus than the second material of the first material layer and the third material of the second material layer.

A connection assembly includes a first housing part, a second housing part pluggable with the first housing part, and a joint connector held between the first housing part and the second housing part. The first housing part has a plurality of contact element receptacles and a plurality of latching elements. The second housing part has a locking section locking one of the latching elements in a latching position. The joint connector connects at least two of the contact elements.

The indicator has a first visual appearance and a second visual appearance different from the first visual appearance, and automatically switches between the first visual appearance and the second visual appearance based on whether the stud contact is in the final installation position.

Housing for an electrical connector

A plug connector has a housing with a cap, the cap having a lever which can adopt a first position and a second position. In this case, the housing is opened in the first position of the lever and closed in the second position of the lever. Furthermore, the plug connector has a locking device which can adopt a blocking position which is intended to lock the lever in the second position. The locking device is elastically movable out of its blocking position into a release position in order to unlock the lever in the second position. Furthermore, the locking device is elastically movable out of its blocking position into an overload position in order to unlock the lever in the second position if a force exerted on the lever exceeds a set value. In this case, the overload position differs from the release position.

Plug connector

A contact housing for a connector of a connector assembly extends through a wall and includes a contact region having a contact seat for receiving a contact-side end of a kink-prone cable. The connector may be for a sealed connector assembly that includes an outer housing, which has a cable inlet opening and an interior space, at least sections of which form a mating-connector receptacle for a mating connector that is complementary to the connector. At least sections of the contact housing of the connector are arranged in the interior space. The contact housing, which has the contact region having the contact seat for holding the contact-side end of the kink-prone cable, facilitates assembly of the connector and prevents damage to the kink-prone cable, and includes positioning means for fixing the position of a laced section of the kink-prone cable.

The invention relates to a connector assembly for an electrical plug-in connector (), in particular an electrical socket plug-in connector () for an igniter of an airbag, with a contact casing () in which at least one electrical contact means () can be provided, and a contact securing means () which has a locking means () by means of which the contact means () can be locked in the contact casing (); the contact securing means () having a strain-relief means () by means of which at least partially a strain relief for an electric line () connected to the contact means () can be set up on/in the connector assembly (); and/or the connector assembly () having a plug-in-connector securing means () which, starting from a pre-latching position (V) on the connector assembly (), for a final latching position (E) can be brought into engagement with the contact securing means () and/or a strain-relief cover () of the connector assembly ().

Connector assembly for an electrical plug-in connector, electrical plug-in connector and manufactured electric cable

A plug for a socket of an airbag is disclosed. The plug has a position assurance member having a movable member and a static member and the position assurance member is movable between a transport position and an end position by moving the movable member in relation to the static member. The plug also has a shorting contact, a flow of current in the shorting contact being possible in the transport position while the flow of current is not possible in the end position. The end position is attainable only when the plug is inserted into the socket.

Plug

The present invention relates to a plug comprising a main housing, at least one conductor guide and a supplementary part. To improve the plug such that the conductor guide can be assembled as easily as possible and its correct position easily checked, with the conductor guide still being well secured, the conductor guide comprises a retaining profile with which a partial profile of the main housing and a supplementary profile of the supplementary part can be brought, at least in certain sections, into engagement so as to correspond with each other. The supplementary part can be moved relative to the main housing between a starting position and a closed position, and in the starting position the conductor guide can be positioned in an opening formed with the partial profile and the supplementary profile and is axially loosely movable and in the closed position is rotatably and axially fixed relative to the main housing and the supplementary part owing to the engagement of the holding profile with the partial profile and the supplementary profile.

The invention relates to an electrical connector for contacting at least one electrical lead and for connection with a complementary connector, to an electrical plug-in connection for connecting at least one electrical lead to an electronic component and to an assembly method for assembling such an electrical connector. A plug connector has a housing having a contact element extending therefrom. The contact element has a connecting region arranged outside of the housing for electrically connecting the contact element to an electrical lead. A sealing element surrounds the connecting region. The sealing element is axially slideable along the connecting region into engagement with the housing.
