During an operation of the energy accumulator, a control unit is designed to detect event data relating to different charging/discharging events of the energy accumulator. The event data for a charging/discharging event indicates an event discharge depth of the energy accumulator within the scope of the charging discharging event. In addition, the control unit is designed to determine a discharge depth distribution based on the discharge data, which indicates a number of charging/discharging events with a corresponding event discharge depth for different discharge depths during the operation of the energy accumulator. The control unit is designed to determine status data relating to a cumulative charging of the energy accumulator based on the discharge depth distribution and based on a discharge depth characteristic curve of the energy accumulator, and/or to adjust an operating strategy for the energy accumulator depending on the discharge depth distribution and the discharge depth characteristic curve.

Method and control unit for monitoring an energy accumulator

A jump-starting arrangement is provided for a motor vehicle, wherein the motor vehicle has an engine control unit and a starter for an internal-combustion engine. The motor vehicle is equipped with at least two partial onboard power systems, which are mutually coupled by way of at least one electric separator element. Each partial onboard power system, respectively, is equipped with at least one rechargeable electric energy accumulator. The two partial onboard power systems each have a jump-starting base, and the respective jump-starting bases are galvanically separated from one another.

Jump-starting arrangement for a motor vehicle

A vehicle electrical system includes a first partial electrical system having a first energy store of a first nominal voltage level, a second partial electrical system having a second energy store of a second nominal voltage level, and a DC-DC converter between the two partial electrical systems. The first energy store has a housing, which has at least a first tap for the first nominal voltage level, and by which a first DC-DC converter can be electrically supplied. The housing has at least a second tap for the second nominal voltage level, by which the second energy store can be electrically supplied. The housing further includes a voltage conversion unit, by which the voltage of the first nominal voltage level can be converted into voltage of the second nominal voltage level.

A motor vehicle having a jump-start device is equipped with an internal combustion engine with a starter motor, and at least two on-board electrical power subsystems which are coupled together via an electric coupling element. Each on-board electrical power subsystem has at least one rechargeable electrical energy storage device. The motor vehicle has a jump-start support terminal, wherein the jump-starting device has a multi-stage jump-start switch. The on-board electrical power subsystems and the jump-starting support terminal are galvanically isolated when a first switching stage of the jump-start switch is selected, and the on-board electrical power subsystems and the jump-starting support terminal are galvanically connected when a second switching stage of the jump-start switch is selected.

A vehicle has a first partial onboard power supply system and a second partial onboard power supply system which is electrically connected with the first partial onboard power supply system at at least a first nodal point. The first partial onboard power supply system includes a first group of electric consumers and the second partial onboard power supply system includes a second group of electric consumers. The first partial onboard power supply system includes a starter, an onboard power supply system accumulator connected parallel to the starter and a first switch between the first group of consumers and the onboard power supply system accumulator. The second partial onboard power supply system includes a first direct-voltage controller, an electric support accumulator connected parallel to the second group of electric consumers at a second modal point, and an interface of the first direct-voltage controller connected with the second nodal point. The electric support accumulator has an electric center tap, and the center tap is connected with the first nodal point by way of a second switch.

A vehicle is provided with a pinion starter for an internal-combustion engine, which vehicle includes a low-voltage onboard power supply system and a high-voltage onboard power supply system. The pinion starter has an electric motor and a solenoid switch, wherein the electric motor is constructed as a polyphase machine. The polyphase machine can be supplied with electric power from the high-voltage onboard power supply system, and the solenoid switch can be electrically supplied by the low-voltage onboard power supply system.

A regulating device for a multi-phase voltage converter includes a connecting element for picking-off an input/output voltage signal at a power path of the multi-phase voltage converter, and a filter, which is configured and coupled to the connecting element so as to cause the filter to output a filter output signal, which correlates to the ripple of the input/output voltage signal. A correcting unit is configured and connected to the filter and to the multi-phase voltage converter such that, owing to the correcting unit, an actuating signal is output to the multi-phase voltage converter, which actuating signal generates a change in the ripple of the input/output voltage signal.

An arrangement and method are provided for stabilizing a voltage applied to a first electric consumer arranged in a vehicle onboard power supply system that includes a second electric consumer. A first voltage supply unit provides a supply voltage; a storage unit stores electric energy; a second voltage supply unit provides a charging voltage; a switching unit is connected to the first consumer, the storage unit, the first voltage supply unit and the second voltage supply unit; and a control unit determines whether a stabilization is to be carried out. If no stabilization is to be carried out, the control unit activates the switching unit such that the first consumer is connected to the first voltage supply unit and, as soon as the stabilization is to be carried out, the first consumer is connected to a series connection formed by the storage unit and the first voltage supply unit.

Arrangement and method for stabilizing a voltage applied to a first electric consuming device arranged in an onboard power supply system of a vehicle

A system and method are provided for starting an internal-combustion engine arranged in a vehicle equipped with an electric machine that at least temporarily drives the internal-combustion engine and a first electrical energy storage unit. An adjusting unit is provided by which the electric machine is connectable with the first storage unit. The adjusting unit is configured to detect at least one defined internal-combustion engine operating state and/or at least one defined vehicle operating state and, at least as a function of the detected internal-combustion engine operating state and/or the detected vehicle operating state, for adjusting an electric quantity which determines an electric power drawn from the first storage unit by the electric machine when driving the internal-combustion engine, or for itself adjusting the drawn electric power.

Device and method for starting an internal combustion engine arranged in a vehicle

A vehicle is provided with a hybridized drive train and a low-voltage onboard power supply system. The low voltage onboard power supply system includes electric consuming devices, an energy accumulator and a starter for an internal-combustion engine. The low-voltage onboard power supply system further includes a support accumulator and a first switch between the support accumulator and the rest of the low-voltage onboard power supply system.

A charging arrangement includes a vehicle having a charging module in the vehicle underbody, and a stationary charging station with a charging unit, for the inductive charging of a battery of the vehicle. The charging station is disposed close to the ground or in the ground. The charging unit is floatingly disposed in the charging station, within a predefined horizontal movement area. The charging module has at least one localization magnet and the charging unit has at least one positioning magnet. The charging unit is constructed as a primary coil, and the charging module is constructed as a secondary coil.

An onboard power supply system for a motor vehicle includes a voltage converter and a voltage source which is electrically coupled with the voltage converter and is constructed for providing a predefined source voltage. The onboard power supply system further has a base energy accumulator which is electrically coupled with the voltage converter and is constructed for providing a predefined base voltage. With respect to the amount, the source voltage is greater than the base voltage. The onboard power supply system also has at least one first selection circuit of at least one first electric consuming device which can be electrically coupled parallel to the voltage converter. Furthermore, the onboard power supply system has at least one second selection circuit of at least one second electric consuming device which can be electrically coupled parallel to the base energy accumulator.

Onboard power supply system and method for operating the onboard power supply system

A device and a method are provided for starting a vehicle internal-combustion engine. An electric machine at least temporarily drives the internal-combustion engine, and a storage unit at least temporarily supplies the electric machine with electric energy. A number of consumer assemblies in the vehicle are drivable at least temporarily by the engine via a respective process-specific connection. A control unit controls at least one consumer assembly in the presence of a consumer assembly control condition in order to generate or increase a load acting upon the internal-combustion engine, and subsequently controls the electric machine for driving the internal-combustion engine in the presence of an internal-combustion engine start condition.

A vehicle energy supply system includes a first branch of the vehicle's electrical system, a second branch of the vehicle's electrical system, and an energy transfer device that couples together the first branch of the vehicle's electrical system and the second branch of the vehicle's electrical system. The energy transfer device is designed in such a manner that energy is drawn from the alternating component of the voltage in the first branch of the vehicle's electrical system by the energy transfer device and is then fed to the second branch of the vehicle's electrical system.

Vehicle energy supply system

A system is provided for supplying voltage to electrical loads in the onboard electrical system of a motor vehicle, in which system the onboard electrical system includes at least two onboard electrical system regions. The first onboard electrical system region has an electric generator, a vehicle battery, and one or more first electrical loads, and the second onboard electrical system region has a double-layer capacitor or a so-called supercap, and one or more second electrical loads. A blocking apparatus, in particular a semiconductor diode or a circuit breaker, is provided between the two onboard electrical system regions. The blocking apparatus permits current to flow from the first onboard electrical system region to the second onboard electrical system region and largely prevents current from flowing in reverse from the second onboard electrical system region to the first onboard electrical system region. The output voltage of the electrical generator is increased and the supercap is charged when a first threshold value of the electrical voltage is undershot in the second onboard electrical system region.
