A pulley decoupler for an accessory drive comprises input and output parts. The output part and the input part are rotatable about a common axis of rotation and are rotatable to a limited extent relative to one another. A centrifugal pendulum device is provided for damping torsional vibrations with a centrifugal pendulum flange that can be rotated about the axis of rotation and has at least one pendulum mass displaceable under centrifugal force relative to the centrifugal pendulum flange. The at least one pendulum mass is acted on by a friction force generated by a first friction device having a first spring and at least one first friction element.

A torsional vibration damper for torsional vibration damping in a drive train of a motor vehicle is provided with a primary mass for introducing a torque, wherein the primary mass has a flywheel which can be connected to an input shaft, a secondary mass which can be rotated to a limited extent relative to the primary mass for dissipating a torque, an energy storage element that can act on the primary mass and on the secondary mass and a centrifugal pendulum connected to the secondary mass to provide restoring torque directed against a rotational irregularity, wherein the centrifugal pendulum is arranged in the axial direction between the flywheel of the primary mass and the energy storage element. By arranging the centrifugal pendulum between the flywheel of the primary mass and the energy storage element, otherwise free installation space on the outside can be used for better vibration damping behavior, while on the inside an increase in the axial installation space requirement is avoided, so that good damping is made possible in a drive train with a small installation space requirement.

Torsional vibration damper

A slip clutch includes an axis of rotation, an input side, an output side, and a pressable friction package for transmitting a predetermined maximum torque between the input side and the output side. The pressable friction package includes a lubricated friction lining with a predetermined coefficient of friction, and an overload spring for applying an axial clamping force to the pressable friction package.

A drive arrangement and a vehicle having a damper device having a damper primary side and a damper secondary side. The damper primary side forms a first drive interface for the coupling of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, having a freewheel device with a freewheel input and a freewheel output. The damper secondary side is coupled rotationally conjointly to the freewheel input, having a gearbox section operatively connected to the freewheel output, having an output interface for the coupling of a drive output section of the vehicle, wherein the output interface is operatively connected to the gearbox section, and having a second drive interface for the coupling of the electric motor and operatively connected to the gearbox section by a control device. The drive arrangement can, by the control device, be switched into different operating states such that a drive torque can be transmitted to the output interface by the first drive interface or by the second drive interface.

A drive train is disclosed that includes an engine operable in a first engine operating state and a second engine operating state and a torsional-vibration damping system operatively connected to the engine. The torsional-vibration damping system includes a first torsional-vibration damper having a primary inertial mass and a secondary inertial mass, a second torsional-vibration damper, a first centrifugal pendulum arranged on the secondary inertial mass of the first torsional-vibration damper, and a second centrifugal pendulum arranged on the second torsional-vibration damper.

Torsional-vibration damping system for a vehicle drive train

A decoupler for damping torque transmission irregularities between a vehicle drive shaft and a belt pulley for driving vehicle auxiliary components. The decoupler includes first and second ramp rings for transmitting torque delivered by the drive shaft to the belt pulley. A spring arrangement provides for axial engagement of the ramp rings. The ramp rings have respective sloped push and pull ramps directed toward the adjacent ramp ring so that in a coasting mode of the vehicle the ramp rings rotate relative to each other and in a vehicle drive mode the ramp rings are drawn toward one another. The decoupler includes a pulley damper for damping torque transmission irregularities to reduce noise emission.

A torque transmission device for starting an internal combustion engine using a permanently engaged starter motor for a start-stop system. An annular gear connected with the starter motor includes a bearing for decoupling the starter motor from the engine based upon the rotational speed difference between the internal combustion engine and the starter motor. The device includes a freewheel for the speed-controlled coupling of the starter motor to the internal combustion engine so that torque is transmitted between the annular gear and the engine crankshaft. An annular gear carrier is arranged between the annular gear and the freewheel. The bearing and the freewheel are arranged radially relative to each other so that at least the freewheel and the bearing are in communication with an oil chamber of the engine. First and second seal elements are provided for sealing the engine oil chamber of the internal combustion engine.

Torque transmission device

A torque transmission device for a drive train of a motor vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine. The device includes an input part and an output part having a common axis of rotation around which the input part and the output part are jointly rotatable relative to one another, and a spring damper arrangement that has at least one energy storage device. A friction device is effective between the input part and the output part and is arranged radially outside the at least one energy storage device, in order to provide a torque transmission device having a construction that is optimized with respect to the installation space.

A belt pulley damper for attenuating torsional vibrations of a drive shaft and includes a belt pulley for driving a pull mechanism, particularly a pulling belt. A torsional vibration damper, particularly a decoupler for torsional vibrations is connected with a drive flange and includes a driven disk movable circumferentially relative to the drive flange, and a driven disk is axially movable relative to a belt pulley. The belt pulley and the driven disk include axially-opposed teeth. The belt pulley teeth and the driven disk teeth can be engaged below a threshold pull force occurring during drive operation, and can be disengaged above the threshold pull force. In that manner, undesired torsional vibrations can be avoided by a free-wheel device without substantially increasing noise.

Belt pulley damper

A coupling system including at least two sub-units, one of which is pre-assembled on the engine side of a motor vehicle drive train, namely on the output shaft of the engine, and the other sub-unit is pre-assembled on the transmission side of the drive train. The pre-assembled sub-units each include respective interengaging teeth to provide a positive drive connection, and the teeth are biased toward each other to reduce circumferential play and thereby reduce noise that would be generated during operation of the drive train.

Coupling system

A torsional vibration damper with at least two parts that are rotatable about an axis and can turn relative to each other against the opposition of at least one coil spring. Support shoes are provided between the spring and an outer wall of the damper structure and are arranged to slide along the outer wall with the spring as it undergoes compression and relaxation. The support shoes include roller bodies to reduce sliding friction between the support shoes and the outer wall.

A torsional vibration damper is described having at least two parts rotatable around an axis of rotation, which are pivotable toward one another against the effect of at least one energy accumulator, the parts pivotable toward one another having regions using which the energy accumulator, which acts around the circumference of the torsional vibration damper, is compressible, the energy accumulator having at least one spring held in a carrier.

A torsional vibration damper, particularly for use in the power train of a motor vehicle, employs one or more preferably arcuate coil springs having constant inner radii and one or more sets of neighboring smaller-diameter convolutions next to one or more sets of neighboring larger-diameter convolutions. The coil spring or springs is or are compressible by the retainers of two components which can turn, about a common axis, with and relative to each other and at least one of which defines a chamber for the coil spring(s). The retainers of the components can act upon the adjacent end convolutions of the coil spring or of two or more series-arranged coil springs between them by way of plastic slide elements and/or elastic bumpers. One or more plastic slides can partially surround selected convolutions to maintain it or them out of contact with the surface surrounding the coil spring(s) even when such spring or springs is or are being acted upon by centrifugal force in response to high-speed rotation of the components.

A torsional vibration damper with at least two components that are rotatable relative to each other against the opposition of at least two deformable energy storing elements, such as arcuate coil springs. In order to at least reduce the noise that is generated by the damper, the energy storing elements are connected to each other by at least one coupling device that is designed to ensure that, when one of the energy storing elements is deformed, there results a controlled entrainment of the other energy storing element or elements.

A flywheel, especially for a dual-mass flywheel, having a friction surface and a mounting surface that is able to mate with a flange. It is distinguished by at least one buffer for the buffering of the friction surface and the mounting surface.
