The invention relates to an electrohydraulic actuator comprising a hydraulic piston, a spindle drive for moving the piston along an axis of rotation, wherein the spindle drive comprises a spindle and a nut, and a worm wheel, which is coaxially attached to the nut. Furthermore, an electric motor having a worm, which meshes with the worm wheel, is provided. The nut is radially and axially supported by means of a bearing. In addition, there is a single-armed rotation-prevention mechanism in order to prevent the spindle from rotating. An angle with respect to the axis of rotation is included between a point of action of the worm on the worm wheel and the effective direction of the rotation-prevention mechanism, wherein the angle is selected in such a way that, for a predetermined torque acting on the nut, a radial force acting on the piston is minimized.

Electrohydraulic actuator

In a method for monitoring the operation of a vacuum pump in a brake system, the vacuum pump is operated between an activation pressure and a deactivation pressure to generate a vacuum, the evacuation period between the activation pressure and the deactivation pressure being measured and compared with a reference period. An error signal is generated if the evacuation period exceeds the reference period.

For scanning the control codes () of the motor position code element (), a scanner unit () is used, which via a signal connection () is connected to a controller () of the secondary drive motor ().

Wiper arrangement for motor vehicles, especially for car windscreens

A method and an apparatus for current supply of an electronically commutated electric motor by a semiconductor power end stage are described, which has an arrangement for ascertaining the current received by the motor and an electronic controller for controlling the branch currents of the motor. For this purpose the electronic controller receives an input signal from a single current sensor () in a common conductor () of the semiconductor switches of the end stage, the terminal voltages (U, U, U) of the individual branch windings () as well as the total voltage (U) applied to the end stage. From these input voltages and the input signal the electronic controller determines respective voltage drops at the individual semiconductor switches under logical incorporation of control signals (G-G) produced by the electronic controller. For the voltage drop at a particular semiconductor switch its respective conducting state D.C. resistance can be ascertained, so that additional current sensors in the individual branches for controlling the branch currents (I, I, I) are not necessary.

Method and apparatus for supplying current to an electronically commutatable electric motor

In a unipolar transverse flux machine, for its modular construction, at least one rotor module has two coaxial, ferromagnetic rotor rings, toothed with a constant tooth pitch over its outer circumference, and a unipolarly magnetized permanent magnet ring fastened between them, and as at least one stator module, concentric with it, has a number of yokelike stator poles corresponding to twice the number of teeth of the rotor module, the stator poles being offset from one another by a pole pitch (&#x3c4;) and with their two yoke legs facing the two rotor rings, with an air gap between them, and an annular coil. At least one pair of stator pole groups having the same number of stator poles is formed, and these groups are displaced relative to one another by an electrical angle &#x3b1;=180&#xb0;/&#x3bd;, where &#x3bd; is the ordinal number of the harmonic in the torque that is suppressed by this displacement.

Unipolar transverse flux machine

The control device for a wiper device of a window wiper apparatus, especially of a motor vehicle, adapts set values of the wiping angle of the wiper arm to an actually measured operating point of the wiper arm during each wiper cycle. Because of that adaptation both over-wiping and also too little wiping of a wiped area by the wiper device is at least reduced so that the wiper accuracy particularly at the turning points of the wiper arm is improved. Furthermore a method for adjusting of a set value of the wiping angle of a wiper arm of a wiper device to actually existing operating conditions or to an actual operating point is provided.

Control device and method for operating a window wiper apparatus with operating-point-dependent wiping angle adaptation

The method of electronically monitoring and controlling a process for moving and/or positioning at least one window and/or sunroof of a motor vehicle to provide protection from pinching includes supplying an input variable, for example drive voltage, and an output variable, for example window position, to a detection device; storing a model in the form of a differential equation describing the process for moving and/or positioning the window and/or sunroof in terms of process parameters in the detection device; optimizing the process parameters of the model according to the input and output variables and storing values of the optimized process parameters in the detection device for the purpose of monitoring; continually evaluating current values of the process parameters obtained by the optimizing by comparing the current values with the stored values; calculating a process correcting quantity in the detection device for adjusting the window and/or sunroof according to the comparing and influencing the process by feeding the correcting quantity into the process, so that the process can be halted when pinching is detected.
