An actuator for level adjustment of a motor vehicle utilizes a ball screw and a locking unit provided for blocking the ball screw. The actuator has a spindle drive which can be actuated by an electric motor via a gear. The spindle may be fastened to a damper of the chassis of a motor vehicle, to a wheel carrier or to the body or a subframe of a motor vehicle. With the aid of a locking unit of the spindle drive, the rotation of the spindle nut can be optionally blocked or enabled. The locking unit includes a locking element which engages a locking contour attached to the end face of a rotatable element of the gear.

Actuator of an apparatus for level adjustment of a motor vehicle

A bearing bushing for a motor vehicle includes a sleeve, a bolt arranged inside the sleeve, and at least one elastomer element arranged radially between the sleeve and the bolt for supporting the bolt in the sleeve in a damping manner. The bolt has a ball element axially between two distal ends, wherein the ball element interacts with at least two movable ball socket elements in order to change the stiffness of the bearing bushing. This allows the bearing bushing can be switched between at least two stiffness levels.

A gearing arrangement for an actuator device for height adjustment of a vehicle body is provided, having a drive wheel and an output wheel, which are rotatably connected to each other by a tooth system formed on each. A blocking element is arranged on the output wheel to block a rotational movement, and a guide track having a blocking stop integrated therein and at least one deflection position; the guide track is connected to a pin section, which is movable to a limited degree and which is provided in order to be guided along the guide track upon rotation of the output wheel and to block a rotational movement of the output wheel upon penetrating into the blocking stop. By using the at least one deflection position, the rotative position of the blocking element can be detected during guiding of the pin section by the at least one deflection position.

Gearing arrangement for an actuator device for height adjustment of a vehicle body

An electromechanical chassis actuator includes a single electric motor and two screw drives. The two screw drives use a common threaded spindle. A spindle nut of the first screw drive is rotationally fixed to the electric motor's rotor and engages the threaded spindle in a back-driveable manner. A spindle nut of the second screw drive is selectively coupled to the electric motor's rotor by a coupler and engages the threaded spindle in a self-locking (not back-driveable) manner. When the coupler is in an engaged position, the actuator operates in a level-adjustment mode. When the coupler is in a released position, the actuator operates in a damping mode.

Electromechanical chasis actuator

An active wheel suspension element has a ball screw drive having a screw drive with a threaded spindle and a spindle nut which is mounted in a housing via an axial bearing. The axial bearing is formed as a rolling bearing, whose rolling element rolls directly on the spindle nut.

Sleeve-type freewheel with torque limitation for two-wheeled vehicle starter applications

A bearing bushing, for example, for a motor vehicle. The bearing bushing is switchable between a first and a second stiffness stage. The bearing bushing has a first elastomer ring, which is arranged rotationally fixedly on an outer circumferential surface of an inner ring, and a second elastomer ring, which is arranged rotationally fixedly on an inner circumferential surface of an outer ring. Radially between the two elastomer rings, an intermediate ring makes contact in a rotationally fixed manner with the two elastomer rings. To change in stiffness of the bearing bushing, the first elastomer ring can be bridged by the intermediate ring and at least one blocking ring which is arranged on the bearing bushing at an end side.

An elastic chassis link for a vehicle is disclosed. The elastic chassis link includes a sliding joint having first and second sliding joint rods. The joint rods are movable axially relative to each other in order to change the rigidity of the elastic chassis link. The first sliding joint rod is connected to a piston that is arranged axially and movable axially within a piston space within second sliding joint rod. The piston divides the piston space into two chambers that interact with a damping element, such as fluid, within each chamber.

Elastic chassis link for a vehicle

A bearing bush for a vehicle is disclosed. The bearing bush includes an inner ring, an outer ring, and an elastomer element between the inner and outer rings. An actuator is configured to cause an application of a force on the elastomer element in a radial direction against at least one of the inner ring and outer ring to alter the rigidity of the bearing bushing. This provides a system for mechanically altering the rigidity of the bearing bush, making the bearing bush switchable between at least two rigidity states.

Switchable bearing bush for a motor vehicle

Bearing bushes, for example, for a chassis of a motor vehicle are disclosed. A bearing bush may include a shaft, a hub, and an elastomer element which is arranged radially therebetween. The bearing bush may be configured to be switched between a first and second stiffness levels. The hub may have a main body and a plurality of radially adjustable plungers which are arranged in the main body. The plungers may be configured to engage the elastomer element and change the stiffness of the bearing bush from the first stiffness level to the second stiffness level. The elastomer element may have a plurality of radial elements arranged on the main body and configured to be compressed via a respective plunger in order to increase the stiffness of the bearing bush. An actuator including an electric motor may be configured to radially adjust the plungers in the main body.

An apparatus for toe and/or camber adjustment for a running gear of a motor vehicle, having a tie rod and/or a link which can be fastened at one side to a bearing fixed with respect to the car body and at the other side by a bearing can be fastened to the wheel carrier of a wheel of the motor vehicle, wherein one bearing has an adjustment element which is in the form of an eccentric and which has an eccentric shaft, which eccentric shaft can be adjusted by an adjustment drive and is assigned safety bearings arranged on both sides of the eccentric.

Apparatus for toe and/or camber adjustment for a running gear of a motor vehicle

A device for adjusting the height of a vehicle body, containing a movement thread, which is arranged between the vehicle body and a wheel carrier. The movement thread has two threaded parts that can be rotated in relation to each other, which are formed by a spindle and a spindle nut, and a locking apparatus, which bridges the movement thread at at least two axial positions in a positive-locking manner and which has a locking sleeve having locking stops arranged over the periphery at different axial positions. The device is characterized in that the locking sleeve is modularly formed of a stack of at least one locking element containing locking stops and groove sections and at least one intermediate element containing only groove sections.

Device for adjusting the height of a vehicle body

A device () for adjusting the height of a vehicle body, including a movement thread () which is arranged between vehicle body and a wheel carrier and shifts two components () which are displaceable in relation to each other between an upper and a lower adjustment position, wherein the movement thread () is provided with two threaded parts which are rotatable relative to each other, are formed from a spindle () and a spindle nut () and are in operative engagement with each other. The one threaded part is accommodated on one component in a manner fixed axially and rotationally driven by a rotary drive (), and the other threaded part is accommodated on the other component non-rotatably and in an axially displaceable manner. In order to protect the movement thread (), in particular the operative engagement, against high mechanical loads, a switchable locking device () spanning the operative engagement of the threaded parts (A, B) of the movement thread () is provided.
