An industrial robot having parallel kinematics, comprising a robot base, a carrier element for accommodating a gripper or a tool, several movable, elongated actuating units, which are connected at one end thereof to drive units arranged on the robot base, and the other end of which is movably connected to the carrier element; an elongated hollow body, which has a continuous cavity and which is flexibly connected to the robot base; a joint, which has a continuous cavity and several degrees of freedom, by means of which joint the elongated hollow body is movably connected to the carrier element; and at least one supply line for a gripper arranged on the carrier element or a tool arranged on the carrier element, the supply line being guided through the cavity of the elongated hollow body and the cavity of the hollow joint from the robot base to the carrier element.

Apparatus and method for portioning food

Proposed are a method and a device for consolidation of a number n of items, whose weight varies within predefined limits, in a container to a single unit with a predefined target weight. For this purpose, n&#x2212;1 portions are combined and the weight of all of the n&#x2212;1 portions is determined. Then the difference between the target weight of the n portions on the one hand and the weight of the n&#x2212;1 portions on the other is determined. Ultimately, an nportion with a precise weight is cut-off from a piece, where the weight equals the weight of the nportion of the difference. For this purpose, the device is provided with a first and a second insertion station, a scale, a computer, and a portioning and cutting device.

Device for consolidating items into a single unit of a pre-defined total weight

A device and a method are proposed for de-rinding or trimming a piece of meat or piece of a slaughtered animal, in which an arrangement device for the arrangement of the piece, an industrial robot with a manipulator arm and a sensor system, which detects the part that is to be separated, are provided. The sensor system comprises a camera and an image processing system as well as, if necessary, a distance measuring system, which determines the distance between a predefined zero point and a measuring point on the surface of the piece. Further, a cutting tool is provided, which separates the part from the piece.

Device for de-rinding trimming a piece of meat or a piece of slaughtered animal

An apparatus and method for the controlled depositing of pliable items in a package are hereby proposed. In this process, the items are conveyed to the packing zone on a conveyor belt. The items are captured on the conveyor belt and moved to the edge of the conveyor belt using a gripper on a rotating gripper arm, the axis of rotation of which runs perpendicular to the conveyor belt. From there, the items are pushed onto a plate with the aid of the gripper and conveyed to a position above their intended position in the package. As soon as the position above the package has been reached, the plate is pulled back, thereby enabling the item to fall into the package located underneath. A packaging conveyor system is used to convey the packages to the packing zone and transport them further once an item has been deposited in order to allow the next item to be deposited.

Apparatus and method for transporting and depositing items into a package

The invention proposes a device and method for the preparation of brochettes with picked-and-placed food consisting of a brochette () and one or more pieces of foodstuff (). The brochette () is held by a brochette holder. The pieces of foodstuff () are picked up from a transport device () by ingredient grippers () and slipped onto the brochette () or placed in a mold, into which the brochette is subsequently introduced.

The device has a pivotable insertion drum () arranged in a rotatable manner around its axis with at least one oblong insertion chamber () for inserting the piece of food. A knife () is arranged on the insertion drum () for cutting a portion located in the portioning chamber from the rest of the piece of food.
