The invention relates to a fixing element () for anchoring in an undercut drilled hole. The fixing element () has a shank portion () and an expansion element (), there being arranged on the shank portion () an expander body () for expanding the expansion element () and a load-application means (). The expansion element () is sleeve-like, having at its end that is at the rear in the direction of introduction (E) a ring-shaped main body () at the introduction end of which there is arranged an expansion lobe () having an opening ().

Fixing element

The invention relates to a fixing element () for anchoring in a drilled hole, having a shank portion () and an expansion element (), there being arranged on the shank portion () an expander body () for expanding the expansion element (). The expansion element () has a plurality of arcuate expansion lobes (), each expansion lobe () being formed by two bridging portions () connected by a yoke (). The bridging portions () of the expansion lobes () together generate an envelope surface (M) of the expansion element (), which envelope surface (M) has rotational symmetry about the longitudinal axis (A) of the fixing element (). In order to provide a fixing element () which can be used both in a wide and also in a narrow drilled hole, the invention proposes that the yoke () have an arcuate curvature () which projects beyond the envelope surface (M) in the radial direction (R).

Anchor sleeve

A fixing device is provided for anchoring in an undercut drilled hole in a panel, especially a glass panel, having an anchor bolt. The anchor bolt has fixing means and an anchoring zone having a portion that widens in cross-section in the direction of insertion. In order to provide such a fixing device having increased resilience, the invention proposes that the anchor bolt having a covering of a resilient plastics material in the region of the anchoring zone and that the anchor bolt be anchored by means of a curable composition.

The drilling device has a radially resilient shaft (3) which allows radial displacement of the drill bit (4) and the drill head (5). The radial displacement can be caused by a vibration device (8), but a self-excited oscillation of the resilient shaft (3) can also provide the desired radial displacement of the drill bit and the drill head. The drill shank (2) has a sleeve-shaped shank extension (17) provided with a damping chamber (18) filled with a damping agent (19) and the resilient shaft (3) is in the damping chamber (18) which is sealed by a radially resilient seal (21) surrounding the resilient shaft (3).

Drilling device having a radially displacable drill shank

Device for producing a drilled hole with an undercut in a facing panel, consisting of a drilling machine and a drilling tool for forming the drilled hole connected to the drilling machine via an adapter for transferring torque; and a holding device of a supporting stand having a swivel bearing for holding the drilling machine so that it can swivel with the drilling tool attached to it. To extend the service life of the drilling tool the adapter consists of a drive part connected to the drilling machine so as to transfer torque and a tool holder connectable with the drive part and a device for releasably securing the tool holder to the drive part so that the center line of the tool holder is inclined relative to the center line of the drive part, which is aligned with the drive axis of the drilling machine, so that only a portion of the circumference of the drilling tool engages the panel during formation of the drilled hole. When the drilling tool is not being driven to form the drilled hole, the tool holder can be detached from the drive part, rotated relative to it and resecured to it so that a fresh engagement region of the drilling tool replaces a worn engagement region.
