An injection valve for injecting a liquid includes an electromagnetic actuator and a movable valve needle and a valve closing element that with a valve seating surface forms a sealing seat, and includes a perforated disc situated downstream from the sealing seat, the perforated disc having at least one inlet area and at least one outlet opening. An upper functional plane having the at least one inlet area has a different opening geometry in cross-section than a lower functional plane having the at least one outlet opening. The perforated disc has inlet areas, each provided, as a locally limited cavity, with a rectangular or bathtub-shaped contour, a respective outlet opening going out from each in the direction of flow, the outlet openings, going out from the midpoint of the respective inlet areas, and drawing an imaginary longitudinal axis and transverse axis through these, having an asymmetry as to both axes.

Injection valve

A valve for atomizing fluid is specified, in particular an injection or metering valve for fuel injection or exhaust-gas systems of motor vehicles, which valve has a valve seat body () with a valve seat () which surrounds a valve opening (), a perforated injection disc () which bears against the front side of the valve seat body () downstream of the valve opening () and has at least one spray hole () which is offset radially with respect to the valve opening (), and an inflow cavity () which is present between the valve opening () and the at least one spray hole (). For the inexpensive and reproducible production of a stable, corrosion-resistant perforated injection disc () with improved atomization of the ejected fluid, the inflow cavity () is formed by at least one depression () which is made in that disc face of the perforated injection disc () which faces the valve seat body (), in such a way that part of the depression () protrudes into the valve opening () and the remaining part of the depression () is covered by the valve seat body (). The at least one spray hole () is made in that part of the depression () which is covered by the valve seat body (), close to the depression wall, which faces away from the valve opening (), into the bottom () of the depression ().

Valve for atomizing a fluid

An atomization system for fuels, particularly for charging a chemical reformer for obtaining hydrogen, includes at least one metering device for metering fuel at at least one metering point into a connecting tube capable of receiving a temperature-adjusted substance stream. The connecting tube features at least one atomization point located downstream of the at least one metering point.

Atomization system

A dosing device for liquid fuels, in particular for input into a chemical reformer in order to recover hydrogen or into a post-combustion device in order to generate heat, includes at least one metering device for metering fuel into a metering conduit and a nozzle body, adjoining the metering conduit, includes at least one spray discharge opening which opens into a metering chamber, including a nozzle body having a perforated spray insert in which at least one spray discharge opening is disposed.

Dosing device

An atomizer nozzle () for fuels, in particular for feeding them into a chemical reformer for obtaining hydrogen, has a nozzle body () containing spray-discharge orifices () that discharge into a metering space, and has at least one metering aperture (). The spray-discharge orifices () are situated at elevation levels () so as to have a radial directional component with respect to a center line () of the nozzle body (), each elevation step having at least one spray-discharge orifice (), and the spray-discharge orifices () of at least one elevation level () being connected to at least one channel () of a nozzle-body insert () that has at least one flow-through opening ().

Atomising nozzle

A device and a method are described for controlling an electromagnetic user, especially a magnetic valve for influencing the fuel quantity to be injected into an internal combustion engine. At least one switching time of the user is taken into consideration in the control. The at least one switching time is ascertained starting from a current value.

Method and device for controlling an electromagnetic consumer

A dual component injector, especially for internal combustion engines, has a nozzle body, which has a nozzle outlet, and a valve needle for opening and closing the nozzle outlet. A first feed channel is used for supplying a first fluid to the nozzle outlet, and a second feed channel is used for supplying a second fluid to the nozzle outlet. Optionally, a fluid chamber, which is located in the nozzle body, is connected to the nozzle outlet. The second feed channel is connected to the fluid chamber or to the first feed channel via at least two bored holes. The bored holes open out in the fluid chamber or in the first feed channel in such a way that the second fluid produces a swirling flow pattern in the fluid chamber or in the first feed channel.

Dual component injector

A fuel injector, particularly a fuel injector for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines, has a valve needle, which cooperates with a valve-seat surface to form a sealing seat, and an armature, which engages with the valve needle, the armature being movable along the axis of the valve needle and being damped by a damping element made from an elastomer. In this context, a first intermediate ring is situated between the armature and the damping element. The damping element rests on the flange, which is connected in a force-locking manner to the valve needle. The intermediate ring and/or the flange is furnished with radial and/or axial channels which connect an interior volume located between the valve needle and the damping element to a central cutaway of the fuel injector.

Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines

The testing device for measurement of a hydraulic leak rate of a spraying valve (11) with a closable outlet opening(11B) includes a vessel (10) filled with an indicating liquid (12) and a device for holding the valve to be tested with the outlet opening (11B) in an inclined position pointing downward into the indicating liquid during testing, a riser tube (14) formed as a glass capillary tube connected with the vessel (10), a balancing reservoir (17) also connectable with the vessel (10) but disconnectable from the vessel (10) with a shutoff valve (15), a light source (18) positioned relative to the riser tube (14) so as to illuminate the riser tube (14) and the liquid level (M) in the riser tube (14) and a linear scanning camera (19) positioned relative to the riser tube (14) so as to observe the height (H) of the liquid level (M) in the riser tube for accurate measurement of a change in the height (H) of the liquid level M when the closed valve is pressurized. The leak rate is calculable from the change in height of the liquid level as measured accurately by the linear scanning camera, the cross sectional area of the liquid in the riser tube and the measurement time.
