A system described herein may provide a technique for the automated detection of a particular type of lighting fixture, where a given type may refer to a particular make and/or model of the lighting fixture, bulb quantity, bulb technology, power output rating, etc. The detection may be based on measured dimming curves of the lighting fixture, which may indicate actual power consumption at varying brightness levels of the lighting fixture. One or more power consumption models may be selected, generated, and/or refined based on the measured dimming curves, and applied to other lighting fixtures sharing similar attributes and/or under similar conditions. Based on such models, a given lighting fixture may be able to automatically detect anomalous behavior (e.g., excessive power consumption or less power consumption compared to expected power consumption) and automatically take remedial actions.

Systems and methods for dynamic control and monitoring of heterogeneous smart lighting systems

A system may provision a smart device to allow the smart device to communicate using a network and use at least one service of a management platform. A device identifier of the smart device may be stored in a data store accessible to the management platform. The smart device may send a message to the management platform that includes the device identifier, and in some implementations other information such as location information. The management platform may determine that the smart device has been provisioned, for example based on the device identifier or other information, and provide a service to the smart device from the management platform.

Systems and methods for automatically provisioning smart devices

A device may receive, from a user device, information that identifies a geolocation of the user device. The device may determine a set of sensor devices that are associated with the geolocation. The device may request, from the set of sensor devices, real-time information associated with the geolocation based on determining the set of sensor devices. The device may receive, from the set of sensor devices, the real-time information associated with the geolocation based on requesting the real-time information. The device may provide, to the user device, the real-time information associated with the geolocation to permit the user device to provide, for display, the real-time information as an augmented reality overlay.
