User equipment (UE) may determine a probability that a cellular network may allocate a resource block to the UE having a frequency that, when a cellular transmitter of the UE transmits a radio frequency (RF) signal using the resource block, a harmonic signal may be generated that interferes with a global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) signal received by a GNSS receiver of the UE. The probability may be determined based on a number of factors that may impact resource block allocation, including a location of the UE, a current date and/or time, a historical allocation of resource blocks (which may be crowdsourced), a client type associated with a signal to be transmitted, a signal environment at the UE, real world conditions, and so on. Based on the probability, the UE may selectively perform a mitigation procedure or transmit an RF signal without performing the mitigation procedure.

Selective cellular interference mitigation for GNSS

This disclosure is directed to shared antenna tuning. An electronic device may receive a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) tune request to tune a shared antenna to a GNSS signal frequency. The electronic device may then tune the antenna to the GNSS signal frequency and enable a GNSS receiver. The electronic device may also receive a cellular tune request to tune the antenna to a cellular frequency. The electronic device may tune the antenna to a cellular frequency and may deactivate the GNSS receiver or blank the GNSS receiver. In some embodiments, the electronic device may also communicate with a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite. During LEO satellite communication, the electronic device may transmit a signal to blank a GNSS L1 receiver to avoid signal interference with the LEO satellite communication, and activate a GNSS L5 receiver to receive GNSS signals.

Systems and methods for shared antenna tuning

This Application describes mechanisms to provide priority levels for call connection requests and/or messages from a sending device to a receiving device. The receiving device is configured to allow prioritized notification alerts for incoming call connection requests and/or for incoming messages from a sending device to override a silent or do not disturb mode for one or more contacts based on i) a priority level provided with the call connection request or message and ii) a priority setting for the sending device or a set of devices associated with a user of the sending device.

An electronic device may utilize various methods or systems to determine whether the electronic device is indoors or outdoors. The electronic device transmits wireless signals (e.g., radio detection and ranging (RADAR) signals). The electronic device receives reflections of the wireless signals. Using these received reflections of the wireless signals, the electronic device determines whether a power amplitude of the reflections is greater than or equal to a threshold value. In response to a determination that the power amplitude is not greater than or equal to the threshold value, the electronic device operates in an outdoor mode or an indoor mode.

Systems and methods for multi-carrier frequency grip detection are described. For example, a method may include determining a first signal strength of a first signal received using a first antenna from a source device; determining a second signal strength of a second signal received using a second antenna from the source device; comparing the first signal strength with the second signal strength; and detecting a detuned condition for a device including the first antenna and the second antenna based on the comparison of the first signal strength with the second signal strength.

Systems and methods for handgrip and case detection for multi-carrier wireless systems

Systems, methods, and devices are provided for dynamically determining appropriate antenna tuning states for communication across one or more frequency bands. An electronic device may include a radio frequency system that facilitates wireless transmission and reception of data across multiple frequency bands. The electronic device may include a processor coupled to the radio frequency system. The processor may instruct the radio frequency system to obtain measurements for a candidate tuner state and a tuner state. Further, the processor may instruct the radio frequency system to determine whether the candidate tuner state provides better radio frequency system performance than the tuner state. Additionally, the processor may update the tuning table to reflect that results of which tuner state provides better radio frequency system performance.

Systems and methods for real-time adaptive antenna frequency response optimization for multi-carrier wireless systems

Aspects of the subject technology relate to gaze-dependent visual encryption of electronic device displays. Each display frame that is displayed on the electronic device display may include a clear-display region around the user's gaze location and an obscured region outside the clear-display region. In this way, only the display content that the user is actively viewing is recognizable and understandable and an onlooker such as an unwanted observer looking over the user's shoulder is unable to understand what is displayed. The obscured region of each display frame may be generated such that the overall look and structure of that region is unchanged, but the content is unintelligible. In this way, the visual experience of the user is not disrupted or distracted by the visual encryption and the eye of the onlooker is not guided to the clear-display region by the visual encryption.

A device is configured to receive signals from a first network and one of transmit signals to or receive signals from a second network. The device is further configured to determine whether at least one parameter related to the first network satisfies a predetermined condition, when the at least one parameter satisfies the predetermined condition, monitoring a degradation of signals received from the first network when an aggressor of the second network is present relative to signals received from the first network when the aggressor is absent and determining a setting to subsequently utilize the first network when the aggressor is present based, at least in part, on the degradation.

A method may comprise, at a user equipment ('UE'), identifying a list of frequencies and bands available to a cellular modem of the UE for one of system selection and system reselection, identifying a subset of the list of frequencies and bands based on an operation of a non-cellular wireless communication component of the UE, storing the subset of the list of frequencies and bands in a graylist, and performing, by the cellular modem, a search for one of the system selection and the system reselection based on the graylist.
