The invention relates to a nozzle head and to a fluid injection valve, in particular to a motor vehicle injection valve. A nozzle head for atomizing a fluid for a fluid injection valve with a valve body, through which flow can pass, may include a longitudinal axis and a nozzle perforated disk having a front surface and an opposite inner surface. The nozzle perforated disk may comprise at least one nozzle hole channel completely penetrating the nozzle perforated disk in the direction of the longitudinal axis and including includes an entry surface at a first channel end and an outlet surface at a second channel end wherein the entry surface is formed on the inner surface of the nozzle perforated disk. A nozzle hole projection of the nozzle hole channel has a channel wall with a wall height (h) extending away from the inner surface and is configured over a circumference of the nozzle hole projection so that the second channel end corresponds to a channel wall end of the channel wall configured so as to face away from the front surface.

Nozzle head and fluid injection valve

A method for determining an air mass air in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. A first filling equivalent is determined during a compression phase of the cylinder, wherein the first filling equivalent corresponds to a first average pressure difference in a first angle range of a crank angle in the compression phase. A second filling equivalent is determined during an expansion phase of the cylinder, wherein the second filling equivalent corresponds to a second average pressure difference in a second angle range of the crank angle of the expansion phase. A differential filling equivalent is calculated by subtracting the first filling equivalent from the second filling equivalent. The air mass in the cylinder is determined based on the differential filling equivalent.

Method for measuring fresh air by evaluating an internal cylinder pressure signal

A method is disclosed for detecting an auto-ignition in a spark-ignited internal combustion engine having at least one cylinder, wherein values for the combustion chamber pressure are measured during a compression stroke of the internal combustion engine at defined crankshaft angles within an evaluation window, a filtered pressure value is determined from the measured values for the combustion chamber pressure, theoretical pressure values in the combustion chamber that would arise if no combustion took place in the combustion chamber are determined for the defined crankshaft angles, the value of the pressure difference between the filtered pressure value and the theoretical pressure values is calculated, the value of the pressure difference is compared with a specified threshold value, and, if the threshold value is exceeded, an auto-ignition in the combustion chamber is inferred.

Method and device for detecting auto-ignitions on the basis of measured and estimated internal cylinder pressure values of an internal combustion engine

A valve for injecting fuel in an internal combustion engine includes a housing having an inflow section and an outflow section for the fuel and a drive section situated between the inflow section and the outflow section. A first control element is provided which is assigned to the inflow section and which enables or prevents the supply of the fuel in a manner dependent on a switching position of the first control element. A second control element is provided which is assigned to the outflow section and which enables or prevents the discharge of the fuel in a manner dependent on a switching position of the second control element. An actuating drive is provided which is arranged in the drive section and which is coupled to both control elements such that the control elements can be moved into an open position independently of one another.

Valve for injecting gas

During the starting of an internal combustion engine with fuel injection, so-called preliminary injections (I) are dispensed according to a certain preliminary injection strategy in order to build up a wall film in the cylinders and simultaneously provide an ignitable mixture for the initial combustion. To avoid a situation where the preliminary charges during the starting phase are too rich or too lean, different quantities of fuel are chosen for the preliminary injections (I), depending on the charges to be expected in the relevant cylinders.
