A compressor (1) with at least one piston (9) movable in a cylinder (10), a drive shaft (2) and a wobble plate arrangement (4, 5) between piston (9) and drive shaft (2), having an inclined plate (4) with variable inclination angle, and with a spring arrangement (17; 41 to 43), acting on the wobble plate arrangement in the direction of a minimum displacement. Such a compressor should also be able to operate at higher pressures without increasing its size, e.g. to enable the use of CO.sub.2 as refrigerant. For this purpose the spring arrangement (17; 41 to 43) acts on the wobble plate arrangement (4, 5) in the area of the radial edge.

Compressor

A compressor is disclosed, in particular for air-conditioning systems in vehicles, having at least one piston movable in a cylinder, a drive shaft and a wobble plate arrangement between the piston and the drive shaft. To improve the efficiency and to reduce leaks, the wobble plate arrangement comprises a swash plate, on which a wobble plate is rotatably mounted. Between the wobble plate and the piston is arranged a bearing which allows movement of the wobble plate relative to the piston in the circumferential direction.

Compressor, in particular for air-conditioning systems in vehicles

There is provided control apparatus for controlling fluid flow between a bidirectional motor, a pump and a container, and includes a control valve that has a slide operative between neutral and first and second operative positions. A compensating valve is provided in the supply conduit that holds the upstream pressure drop at the control valve substantially constant and is controlled by load pressure sensing circuitry. The load pressure circuitry includes two branches that are connected through a change over valve to the compensating valve. There is provided an over pressure valve and a throttle point in each branch, each branch being connected to a load pressure sensing orifice of the control valve housing and fluidly connected through the slide to one of the housing motor orifices, the one depending upon whether the slide is in its first or in its second position. The circuitry permits the actuating pressure for operating the motor in one direction to be different from that for operating it in the other direction.

A control system for a two way acting hydraulic servomotor wherein the servomotor is connected in the diagonal of a bridge circuit that includes four magnetic valves with a pair of the valves being normally open in a non-energized condition being connected to the one end of the servomotor and to the container and a second pair of the valves being normally closed in a deenergized condition being connected to the opposite end of the servomotor and to a pressure source. Circuitry provides pulse trains that are modulatable to control the operation of the magnetic valves and thereby the application of pressurized fluid to the opposite ends of the servomotor.

Control means for a hydraulic servomotor

The invention relates to a rotary compressor assembly of the type in which an electric motor and a rotary compressor are mounted in a seal capsule and share a common drive shaft. An intermediate pressure chamber is formed in the housing adjacent the outboard bearing of the compressor and a nonmechanical pressure difference principle is utilized to convey lubricating oil from the pump to the intermediate pressure chamber. A groove and paddle construction associated with the shaft conveys oil from the intermediate pressure chamber against the capsule pressure back into the capsule through the shaft bearings.

The invention relates to a rotary compressor assembly of the type in which an electric motor and a rotary compressor are mounted in a seal capsule and share a common drive shaft. A lubricant storage chamber is formed in the housing adjacent the outboard bearing of the compressor and auxiliary pumping apparatus which includes a conduit equipped with a venturi passage provided for conveying lubricating oil from the pump to the storage chamber. Mechanical apparatus associated with the shaft conveys oil from the storage chamber to the shaft bearings.
