A machine for preparing soil mixes and the like utilizing a hopper and a conveyor forming a live bottom for the hopper to convey the materials into a shredding chamber. A hammer mill type apparatus is positioned in the shredding chamber to shred and mix the materials. The hammer mill apparatus works in cooperation with spring-loaded bars and with stationary bars which retard the bypassing of material around the hammer mill.

Shredder-mixer

A support shoe for pivotably supporting a portion of a lamp body within a support frame and allowing the lamp body to be adjustably aimed in vertical and horizontal planes, characterized in that the support shoe includes a stud which carries a resilient body received by a slot in the support frame in a manner that allows the support shoe to serve as a pivot assembly.

Headlamp pivot assembly

A vehicle headlamp assembly includes a box-like support frame enclosing a lamp body mounted adjustably as by connectors which are connected to the support frame through resilient means to cushion any shock that the lamp body may experience during the travel of the vehicle along a roadway.
