The invention is concerned with a device and a method for cleaning and disinfecting medical instruments, in particular instruments of minimal invasive surgery (MIS). Instead of the rigid connection of cleaning tubings to instrument connections and exits which has been used up to now and which have the disadvantage that certain contaminated regions remain inaccessible for a secure cleaning, there is suggested a docking of injector nozzles in defined chronological intervals, the injector nozzles being fixed in a centric position to the openings of the instrument connections. At the same time various types of injector nozzles are applied for adaptation to various instrument connections and openings. By measuring the rinsing fluid quantity flowing to the instrument connections and the total discharging rinsing fluid quantity, the quality of preparation may be evaluated and documented.

Device and method for rinsing channels of medical instruments

The invention relates to a rinsing device for trocar sleeves. A rinsing and accommodating tube for a trocar sleeve integrated into a basket system may be pivoted from a horizontal rinsing position into a vertical equipping and removal position by way of a pivoting part which is pivotably mounted on a base. All disassemblable individual parts of the trocar sleeve are mounted in a basket system with point contact free of areas shaded to rinsing and may after assembly of the individual parts remain in the basket for sterilization.

Rinsing device for trocar sleeves

A container for medical instruments or instrument parts constructed from wire formed parts. The container has a lower part and a lid with a handle for use in removing the lid from the lower part. Supports are removable and adjustably positioned within and define open topped receptacles for retaining the instruments within the lower part, the instruments are fixed in their position by braces when the container is closed. The lid in its closed position is connected to the lower part on one side by a positive locking mechanism, and on its opposite side by a latching mechanism. After releasing the latching mechanism the positive locking mechanism can be released by raising or tilting the lid. The handle is made from wire-formed parts and is positioned in the upper plane of the lid.

Container for medical instruments

An apparatus table is described which has two lateral stands provided with attachment means and arranged at a fixed distance with respect to one another and at least one receiving device for instruments, apparatus and the like, provided between the stands, the receiving device being screwed to the two stands. To achieve a simply constructed receiving device which can be manufactured inexpensively, the receiving device has structural components assembled in the form of movable parts and comprising two opposing edge strips screwed in each case to the associated stand and extending transversely thereto with plug-in receivers and a working shelf provided with plug-in projections which project into the plug-in receivers. Each stand has two vertical, projecting bearing rails for the particular edge strip at a distance from one another on its side facing the edge strip attached to the stand. The stands have the attachment means for the receiving devices between the bearing rails.

Mobile surgical apparatus table

A receptacle for containing preferably medical instruments and/or parts thereof is disclosed. The receptacle is for storage, disinfection or sterilization of such instruments or parts, and comprises a first trough for receiving a second trough. The troughs when nested one within the other can be closed by a detachable lid and thus combined to form a single container. The instruments are laid on flexible spiked mats which rest on point or line supports on the bottoms of the troughs and on the underside of the lid, to which mats are releasably attached.

Instrument receptacle

An equipment trolley, particularly for transporting and/or holding medical instruments, equipment and the like, can, by using standardized components such as carrier trays, drawer blocks and the like, be customized to suit its intended purpose, and to prevent the transmission of germs, all the components are sheathed by formed plastics members of complementary configuration to said components, thus protecting the metal parts against contact with harsh media likely to cause corrosion.

Equipment trolley

A device for use in performing examinations and surgical interventions within the abdominal cavity of a patient comprises a cowling having a marginal area which is applicable to the abdominal integument of the patient and which is provided with an upper temporarily closable opening in communication with an annular projection which is directed into the inside of the cowling and which has a free end which is applicable in hermetic contact with the abdominal integument, whereby a negative pressure generated within the cowling raises the abdominal integument. Optional instruments may thereupon be inserted through the opening and via the abdominal integument into the abdominal cavity without damaging any internal organs and vessels which were initially in contact with the inner side of the abdominal integument.
