An apparatus for the creation of an electrical circuit on a game board as a puzzle to be solved, is provided. The game board includes an electrical control circuit that induces an electromagnetic field above a planar surface of the game board. A plurality of electrically conductive distinctly curved game pieces are placed in various ways on top of the planar surface, the goal being to place all of the pieces on the planar surface in a loop in order to create the electrical circuit. When the final game piece is placed, an induced current flow is experienced by the electrical circuit and detected by the electrical control circuit. In response to detecting completion of the electrical circuit, the electrical control circuit activates an audible indication and a visual indication simultaneously for a period of time to provide a pleasurable reward to the user in the form of sensory feedback.

Circuit puzzle

The manipulable puzzle of the present invention includes a housing, multiple sliding bars, and multiple movable pieces. The housing has a support surface with an area defined by walls. The sliding bars are retained on the support surface by overhangs extending from opposing walls such that the sliding bars are removable and can slide across the support surface. The sliding bars each have a channel and peak pattern through which the movable pieces are slid as the sliding bars are manipulated to provide adjacent channels for the movable pieces to move through.

Convertible interference sliding block type manipulable puzzle and method

A plenum cable having a plurality of twisted pair conductors with at least one pair having a non-fluorinated polyolefin insulation and all of the twisted pair conductors which are adjacent to each other having a lay length of about 0.4 to 4' with the preferred lay length being 0.4 to 1.25 inches. The lay length of the non-fluorinated polyolefin twisted pair conductor is preferably 1.0 to 1.25 inches and the lay lengths of the fluorinated polyolefin twisted pair conductors is preferably 0.5 to 85'. The twisted pair conductor insulation is preferably radially joined along the entire length thereof. Preferably, the twisted pair conductors all have an impedance of 90 to 110 ohms and the impedance does not vary by more or less than .+-.0.05 of an average impedance. Also, the twisted pair conductors preferably have a center-to-center distance that does not vary by more or less than .+-.0.03 of an average center-to-center distance. Also, for another embodiment, all the adjacent twisted pair conductors have a dielectric constant within .+-.0.25 of each other.

Plenum cable

An improved apparatus for golf practice formed from two coaxial wedge-shaped structures, one above the other and rotatable relative to each other and with respect to an underlying supporting platform to provide tilt and tilt direction for practicing golf swings on up slope, down slope and cross slope lies, to simulate the various slope and slope directions of a real golf course. The lower wedge-shaped structure acts as a solid support for the upper wedge-shaped structure and rotation of the upper wedge-shaped structure may result in the tilt of the upper surface of the upper wedge-shaped structures over a continuous range from zero degrees up to the total of the angles of the two wedge-shaped structures. The direction of the tilt angle of the upper surface of the upper wedge-shaped structure relative to an underlying planar base can then be varied by rotating the two structures together about a vertical axis. The upper surface of the upper wedge-shaped structure is preferably covered with a simulated grass mat. The wedge-shaped structures may be either solid or formed from an assembly of structural elements that are arranged into a wedge shape and may be rotated manually and locked in a selected position, or each may be driven to such selected position by a powered drive assembly disposed either internally or externally on the structure itself.

Golf practice apparatus

An improved cable assembly having a plurality of conductors held in flat cable sections by a carrier film and cable sections in which the conductors are not held by the carrier film and method for forming such a cable assembly. The flat sections are identified by an indicia on the outer surface of the outer jacket. The method includes the steps of marking the location of the flat cable sections with a ferromagnetic implant, extruding an outer jacket around the conductors and implant, detecting the location of the implant, and applying indicia to the outside surface of the outer jacket to identify the location of the flat cable section.

Electrical cable and method for manufacturing the same

Apparatus for applying marking to the outside surface of an outer jacket of a cable assembly including a cable having flat cable sections and sections where the conductors are not held. The apparatus includes a supply station for providing a length of the cable, a take up station for taking up the completed cable assembly, and a driver for moving the cable toward the take up station. The apparatus also includes a flat cable section detector adjacent the supply station for marking a flat cable section with an implant, and an extruder positioned downstream of the flat cable section detector for providing the outer jacket about the cable and the implant. The apparatus further includes an implant detector disposed downstream of the extruder for detecting the passage of the implant, and a printer located between the implant detector and the take up station and which is responsive to the implant detector for marking the location of a flat cable section on the outside surface of the outer jacket.
