A multitier collapsible stand provides enhanced lateral stability while supporting an object, such as a television, on multiple tiers, and also presents an aesthetic d&#xe9;cor that enhances the appearance of the object. The stand utilizes a collapsible support frame that supports multiple tiers of support panels in a tiered relationship. The support frame also collapses for enhanced portability and stowage. The support frame comprises three arms that are traversed by a pair of cross bars for enhanced structural integrity. A rear panel positions coplanar to the arms. Left and right lateral members hingedly join the arms to the rear panel. The lateral members carry multiple support panels. A hinge enables hinged articulation between arms, lateral members, and the rear panel for collapsing the stand. A buckle hinge allows for hinged articulation and separation between arms, lateral members, and the rear panel for collapsibility. An attachable vertical stand supports a television.

Multitier collapsible stand

A collapsible support apparatus with hinged multi-tier shelves and separable buckle hinges provides multiple tiers of shelves with a folding upper shelf that is designed to support a television, and that can be pulled out and secured with separable buckle hinges, so as to enable enhanced lateral stability of the television or any other object being supported. The apparatus further comprises a middle and lower shelf disposed arranged in a stacked arrangement beneath the upper shelf. The apparatus further comprises strategically positioned separable buckle hinges that pivot up to 90&#xb0; and separate for facilitated collapsibility and assemblage. The apparatus further comprises elongated crossbars, support members, connecting bars, and a rectangular frame that hingedly interconnect about at least one separable buckle hinge and at least one simple hinge to easily pivot between an expanded position for supporting the television, and a collapsed position for stowage and portability.

Collapsible support apparatus with hinged multi-tier shelves and separable buckle hinges

A double axial hinge for a console creates myriad combinations of folding, opening, closing, and extending of doors, panels, and windows of a console. The hinge provides a fixed central panel having a pair of edges. A first pivoting axis and a second pivoting axis in a parallel, spaced-apart relationship enable pivoting about the central panel up to 360 degrees from two directions. The ends of the hinge utilize a first L-shaped bracket and second L-shaped bracket that pivot independently of each other and have a broad L-shape that can be mounted on various mounting surfaces. The L-shaped brackets have a mounting panel that mounts to the console and a hinging panel that pivots about the respective pivoting axes. In an alternative embodiment of the hinge, at least one tab extends from the second pivoting axis restricts pivoting in a first direction about a central panel beyond 90 degrees.

Double axial hinge for a console

An arched shelf assembly provides a pair of arched arms that carries multiple tiers of shelves and disperses forces associated with the load on the shelves. The assembly supports multiple tiers of tempered glass shelves in a stacked, spaced-apart relationship. The shelves are configured to carry a load. The arc shape of the assembly creates enhanced structural integrity by compressing stress forces from the load to the ground. The compression of these stress forces resolves forces into compressive stresses, thereby minimizing tensile stresses on the assembly. In essence, the arc works to transmit the stress forces to the ground. The assembly also pivotally articulates into a collapsed position for enhanced portability, collapsibility, disassembly, and assemblage. To enable hinged articulation, the assembly utilizes hinges, barrel hinges, and buckle hinges that enable hinged articulation of the support frame up to 90&#xb0; and separation of the components of the assembly.

Arched shelf assembly

A television support assembly that provides enhanced lateral stability and hinges that pivot up to 90&#xb0; and separate for facilitated collapsibility and assemblage. The assembly provides elongated arms, legs, connecting bars, and a rear frame that hingedly interconnect through separable buckle hinges and simple hinges to easily move between an expanded position and a collapsed position. The assembly also provides a pair of support shafts disposed transversely across the assembly for enhancing lateral stability in the expanded position. The rigidity of the support shafts enhances lateral structural integrity for supporting the weight of the television. An attachable vertical bracket can be detachably fastened to hold a flat screen television. Shelves can be installed between the arms for storage or additional entertainment components. Doors and windows may also be added for functionality or aesthetics.

Collapsible television support assembly with dual support shafts and separable buckle hinges

A modular intramedullary nail which, selectively, includes two or three connectable sections that are connectable end to end. In the two section nail the second section is an elongated curved nail component having an elongated, open-ended longitudinal bore, and terminating in a distal end. The three section nail includes an upper proximal nail component having an open-ended bore. The second section is a central nail section that is an elongated curved nail component having an open ended longitudinal bore. The third section is a lower distal nail component having an elongated open ended longitudinal bore. The nail components are connected at the end using corresponding conical socket and conical projecting end portions of adjoining end nail components that can be fitted together and secured upon impact. Upon assembly, the connections are self orienting, providing corresponding tooled 'flat' portions adjacent the respective conical socket and conical projecting end portions of the nail components. This interlocking tooled flats align and abut upon assembly so that the adjoining nail components only align in one relative rotational position. The assembled nail thus provides an elongated continuous open ended bore that receives a cannulated fastener. In the three section nail, the fastener extends the full length of the longitudinal bore of the assembled three nail sections. In the two section nail, the fastener extends into the distal end. An upper enlarged head portion of the cannulated fastener grips the proximal nail component. The distal end portion of the cannulated fastener has external threads which engage corresponding internal threads within the bore of the distal nail component.

Cannulated modular intramedullary nail

A modular intramedullary nail has two or more modular components of varied sizes and designs, which are joined by a morse taper friction fit. Adjacent modular components are prevented from rotating relative to each other and can be properly aligned when assembled.
