A folder is provided for holding objects therein having at least one pocket. An expandable bottom bellows adjoins pocket and back panels along their respective bottom edges. A pair of expandable side bellows, along with the bottom bellows, permits expansion of the folder to accept objects within the pocket. An integral order panel is removably coupled with a front closure panel. A cassette holder is coupled with the front closure panel or the order panel, and is adapted to receive a cassette therein. Security panels are coupled with the cassette holder and fold over the cassette to retain the cassette securely within the cassette holder. Corner tabs are provided on the front closure panel for receiving the proof page therein. Flip tabs coupled with the cassette holder also secure proof page to the folder.

An envelope is disclosed which includes a back panel hingedly coupled with a front panel, where side panels foldably coupled with the back panel are folded over the front panel. The side panels are partially secured to the front panel each having a portion which is unsecured to the front panel. A closure panel is hingedly coupled with the back panel and has at least one closure tab coupled therewith. The closure tabs are adapted to be engaged by the side panels and the front panel, where the closure tabs are disposed between the front panel and the side panels where the side panels are unsecured with the front panel. A cassette holder is also incorporated and can be coupled with the closure panel of the front panel.

A folder for holding objects therein having two pockets. An expandable bottom bellows adjoins front and back panels along their respective bottom edges. A divider panel is disposed within the folder between the front and back panels separating the folder into two pockets. A pair of expandable side bellows permitting along with the bottom bellows expansion of the folder to accept objects within the pockets. The divider panel is initially attached to the front panel along their respective top edges. The divider is folded within the folder and adhered to the bottom bellows along its bottom edge. The joint between the front panel and divider panel is then broken along their top edges allowing the divider panel to float freely between the front and back panels.

In accordance with the present invention a multiple use envelope for safely sending material to successive recipients is provided. The envelope broadly is a paperboard container having a generally rectangular, substantially closed body with one open edge opening into an interior cavity for receiving material. A closure flap is connected to the body adjacent the open edge and can be manipulated to close the opening. On its interior surface, the closure flap carries two parallel sealing strips and two parallel opening strips for use by first and second senders and recipients. On its exterior surface, the closure flap carries an indicia receiving security block overlying at least a portion of at least one of the two opening strips. The invention also encompasses a flat paperboard blank for forming into the envelope.

A carton which, as constructed, includes an integral, single-thickness carrying handle. The carton also includes deflection regions at the ends of the handle to effectively manage the forces generated when the carton is carried using the handle.

A substantially sift proof pouring spout is provided by cooperating interior and exterior pouring spout components formed by partial throughcuts, edges or lines of perforations. The exterior spout component is split to form an automatic supplemental side wing, includes an integral inward travel stop tab, and is releasably connected to a tamper evidence tab. The invention encompasses a single-piece flat blank for forming the spout and a carton with which it is integrated. The inward travel stop tab and tamper evidence tab are defined at least in part by the partial cuts and resultant delamination areas.

A carton for fast food items is provided. The carton has a polygonal bottom panel with four generally rectangular side wall panels foldably attached to the edges thereof. A major top closure panel is foldably connected to one of the side wall panels, and a minor top closure panel is foldably connected to the opposite side wall panel. The minor top closure panel carries a closure tab having bilateral locking wings. A slot is provided in the major top closure panel for receiving the closure tab. The carton includes corner closing, backfolded, double layer webs at each corner. Each web is foldably connected to a first associated side wall panel at a perforated fold scoreline collinear with the edge of that panel, and to an adjacent side wall panel along an angled perforated or cut fold scoreline extending outwardly at approximately 45.degree. from each corner of the bottom wall panel. The present invention also encompasses a die cut blank for forming the carton. The present invention also includes a forming fixture for erecting the carton at the point of use. The forming fixture has a base and two pairs of forming walls, each wall angling upwardly and outwardly from the base, one pair of walls being disposed at an angle of approximately 45.degree. to the base, while the other pair of walls is at approximately a 60.degree. angle.

A recloseable pouring spout structure for a wall of a product dispensing carton has a first wall panel connected to the carton at a first fold line. The first wall panel has a first aperture. There is a second wall panel connected to the carton at a second fold line generally parallel and opposite to the first fold line. The second wall panel lies interior to the first wall panel and has an opener tab therein defined by a leader edge that is generally parallel to the second fold line, a hinge line generally parallel to the leader edge and a pair of generally parallel opposed side edges extending between the hinge line and the leader edge. At least one locking tab is present on one of the side edges intermediate the leader edge and the hinge line. The locking tab extends in a direction generally perpendicular to the extension direction of the leader tab and is positioned to underlie and engage an edge of the first aperture when the locking tab is in the plane of the second wall panel. There is a third wall panel connected to the carton at a third fold line generally perpendicular to the first and second fold lines. The third wall panel lies interior to the first and second wall panels and has one or more product dispensing apertures therein. A flat blank for forming the carton is also encompassed.

The present invention is a reclosable carton in the form of a rectangular box, having opposed parallel substantially single layer front and rear walls, opposed parallel substantially single layer side walls and a closed bottom end forming a carton body. The carton includes a top end flip-top reclosable hood. The hood includes a hood skirt and is formed by an outside main hood panel foldably connected to the carton body, an inside hood panel foldably and severably connected to the front carton wall and including a transverse fold line defining a front hood skirt panel, and two minor hood forming flaps foldably and severably connected to the carton side walls and foldably connected to the inside hood panel. The transverse fold line extends collinearly across the side panels and the carton is provided with an opening tear strip extending completely across the hood forming panels and flaps and parallel to the transverse fold line. The invention provides a friction group of panels to enhance the frictional engagement between the hood and the carton body to ensure that the hood remains closed after it is opened and reclosed, yet prevents the outermost fold score lines associated with the skirt from expanding outwardly and rupturing.

The present invention is a recloseable hooded carton, particularly useful for containing granular material such as soap powder or the like. The carton is generally rectangular, having front and rear walls, opposed side walls, a closed bottom structure, and a top opening structure including a recloseable hood. An integral handle is provided for carrying the carton before and after opening the hood. A blank for forming the present invention is encompassed.

The present invention provides a low cost paperboard sleeve package for holding tubs in a stacked manner. The sleeve has an octagonal configuration to provide stacking strength and space efficiency. The top of the sleeve is provided with an openable retainer to allow removal of the tubs. The bottom of the sleeve has retaining flaps which extend upward and inward to engage the lid and upper portion of the lowermost tub and which permit the stack of tubs to be loaded into the sleeve from the bottom. This supporting engagement enables the lowermost tub to support the weight of the tubs stacked above.

A carton with integral pouring spout is provided. The carton includes first and second side wall panels, first and second end wall panels hingedly connected to the first and second side wall panels, and top and bottom closure panels attached to the side wall panels to form a tubular carton having a rectangular cross-section. The integral pouring spout is formed in one of the wall panels of the carton by cooperating interior and exterior pouring spout components. The spout is adapted for cartons having a narrow width or thickness by having a split exterior spout component including an automatic supplemental side wing. The invention encompasses a single-piece flat blank for forming the carton and spout, including a removable access tab located immediately adjacent the spout to prevent unwanted opening.

A carton for containing a product wound on a hollow core is provided. The carton has end walls at least one of which forms a core retainer comprising an inner wall having a tab foldably attached thereto for deflection into the carton interior and an overlapping wall coupled to a second side of the carton having a second tab foldably attached thereto and deflectable toward the carton interior, whereby the two tabs cooperate upon deflection to form a V-shaped retaining member in the carton interior to hold the core in place as product is removed. An outer end wall foldably attached to a third side of the carton overlaps the first two walls to close the end of the carton. The invention also encompasses a flat blank for forming into the package.

A rectangular box carton according to the present invention has generally rectangular front, bottom, back, cover and closure panels. The front, bottom, back, cover and closure panels are consecutively joined at parallel fold lines. The closure panel is overlapped on and connected to the front panel to form a tube of generally rectangular cross section. Left and right endwall flap structures close the ends of the tube. Each endwall flap structure has a hood flap attached to said cover panel and adapted to form with the cover and closure panels a hinged, hooded lid that is opened by breaking the connection between the closure panel and front panel. Thereafter the lid is hinged to open and close to give access to contents of the carton. A tear filament is affixed to and across the inner surface of the closure panel to aid in severing the closure panel from the front panel.

A carton for containing and protecting hygroscopic materials is provided and includes an integral pouring spout. The carton includes overlying end closure panels each having an array of partially penetrating cut lines on its inner and outer surfaces and cooperating perforations with through-cuts. A leader tab is provided on an outer end panel and an inner panel has a spout hole therein. The array of cut lines on the panels enables areas of delamination to be created, to lift a cover panel and expose the spout hole when the leader tab is pulled. The cover panel, the leader tab and a cut along the lead edge of the spout hole provide convenient reclosing of the carton. A flat blank for forming into the carton is also encompassed.
