The invention relates to a receiving element for receiving an interchangeable yarn drawing nozzle that can be magnetically locked. According to the invention, the receiving element is configured as an adapter (), which can be screwed into a central threaded bore () of a thread channel plate () in an open-ended rotor spinning device (), the latter being designed to receive a conventional yarn drawing nozzle that is equipped with an external thread. The adapter () comprises centring bores () for receiving ferromagnetic centring lugs () of a yarn drawing nozzle () in addition to a continuous bore (), whose internal diameter (d) is adapter to the external diameter (D) of the shaft () of the yarn drawing nozzle (). The adapter is also equipped with permanent magnetic pins (), which correspond with the ferromagnetic centring lugs () of the yarn drawing nozzle ().

A spinning device comprising a spinning box housing; a spinning rotor having a spinning cup on a rotor shaft; a cover element; a traveling belt acting tangentially on the rotor shaft; a rotor brake; a pivotable expander roller moveable within a maximum pivot angle via a pressure lever system connected to the brake gear of the rotor brake between an operative position when the spinning box is closed in an inoperative position wherein the expander roller is automatically lifted off the tangential belt and the rotor brake is applied to the rotor shaft when the spinning box is opened; a brake and locking lever having a locking recess in contact with an arresting roller arranged on the cover element; and an arrangement in the pressure lever system for absorbing shock-like forces acting on the expander roller and for preventing the forces from being transmitted to the brake and locking lever.

Spinning device

Spinning stations of open-end spinning frames are cleaned from time to time to increase productivity, e.g. each time a sliver can change is made although, if the times between the exchange of two cans are too long, cleaning may be performed at a preset cycle. The sliver must be removed from the spinning station for this purpose. To be able to reintroduce a defined length of the removed sliver into the spinning station at the end of a cleaning operation, the end of the sliver is aspirated from between the draw-in roller and the gripping table of the spinning station by means of an aspiration and blower nozzle and pulled out of the spinning box of the spinning station and, after the cleaning operation, the sliver is introduced into the spinning station by means of the aspiration and blower nozzle. The aspiration nozzle has an insert with bores for causing the tip end of the sliver to assume a particular shape.
