A locking device for furniture, in particular for furniture which may be adjusted by rotation of a furniture section is provided. The locking device includes an axle which is rotatable for adjusting the furniture and which has an engagement recess limited to an angular segment about the axle. The locking device further includes a blocking element which is configured for rotational blocking of the axle by engaging in the engagement recess. The locking device further includes a support bearing which is configured to support the blocking element in a fixed rotational manner about the axle. The locking device further includes an adjusting ring rotating about the axle, which has a contoured recess for radial adjustment of the blocking element within the support bearing upon rotation of the adjusting ring about the axle. The blocking element is engageable in the engagement recess by the radial adjustment, so that the axle is lockable rotationally with the support bearing via the blocking element.

A connection assembly for a backrest, of an office or conference chair, includes a backrest structural element, a transverse support element, a transverse bearing by means of which the backrest structural element is rotatably coupled to the transverse support element in a direction perpendicular to a transverse direction, and a connection portion connecting the transverse support element to the backrest structural element, arranged and formed so that the backrest structural element is resiliently movable relative to the transverse support element.

Connection assembly for a backrest and office or conference chair

A back rest for a chair with a back support and a back surface secured to the back support and able to swivel about a two-axis joint. The joint has a joint plate connected to the back surface, an element made of an elastic material that supports the joint in a ground position, and a chamber to accommodate the elastic element, connected to the back support. The joint plate is arranged in the receiving chamber between two elements made from an elastic material, holding the joint in a ground position and each being supported against the receiving chamber, and it can swivel about the two swivel axes. When the joint is placed under load, the two elastic elements are only subjected to compression. There are no tension-loaded connections which break under loading and can result in the joint falling apart.

Back rest for a chair

A movable table flap that which can be integrated into a work surface of a table, wherein in a closed position the upper side of the table flap is flush with the work surface of the table and a device for connecting various electric appliances and communication facilities is arranged underneath the table flap, wherein in the open position, the table flap can be both inclined and recessed simultaneously. The position of the table flap is changed by use of a compression spring, which is movable in an arched guide slot.

Moving table flap

A device for lumbar support for an office chair having a seatback including a seatback frame and a membrane stretched over the seatback frame. The device can be arranged behind the membrane and can be housed in the seatback frame to provide vertical and horizontal adjustment independent of the membrane. Preferably, the device includes a central part having two comparably rigid carrier elements connected to each other via an elastic element arranged therebetween, the rigid carrier elements each including a guide track that can be arranged in the seatback frame to provide the vertical adjustment. A front part includes a cushion attached to an upholstery plate, the upholstery plate facing the membrane. A rear part includes a plastic plate. The cushion and the plastic plate are connected via a clip connection, and the clip connection is guided in slots of the carrier elements.
