A technique for dynamic digital ad configuration of digital ads being displayed on web pages and other digital properties is discussed. In one embodiment a site-specific Ad Tag is used to formulate a request for ad creatives for a publisher web page based on previously stored website configuration settings and dynamically retrieved targeting parameters. Ad creatives satisfying the request are identified and advertiser configuration settings for the identified and retrieved ad creative may be further adjusted based on the publisher website configuration settings before the ad creative is displayed on the website. Further, the site-specific Ad Tag may continue to monitor a performance of the displayed ad creative after the ad creative has been displayed on the web page of the publisher to optimize display and acquire information.

A technique for dynamically adjusting a digital advertising campaign during an active campaign flight is discussed. Using feedback from a digital survey over an exposed audience of user populations, brand lift may be calculated on a per ad creative and/or per site basis. By authoring content in a generic markup language and using the technologies included in the Mobile Content Framework (MCF), the content developer is able to provide content to multiple types devices without providing different versions of the content. The content may be authored originally in the generic markup language or translated from other languages into the generic markup language by the MCF. The MCF exploits the capabilities and accommodates the limitations of different types of wireless devices by converting generic markup language content to device-specific content. The MCF interacts with device registries holding records of the device attributes in order to provide the device-specific content. The MCF handles these issues for current mobile devices while also being extensible for future mobile devices.

An interactive response system that enables a user to engage in an interaction with the response system that is representative of an interaction between the user and a server connected to the Internet is described. During a telephone call between a user and an interactive response system, the user uses only his voice or key presses on a keypad of his telephone to interactively specify information that can be used to control delivery of content to a visual display of, or a storage medium accessible by, a target device. A separate interaction on behalf of the user is conducted by the interactive response system with the server. Information is received that can be used to identify the user and the target. Based on the received information, user authentication information is transmitted to the user, authentication information is received from the user, and the user is allowed to access a service.
