A method of operating an elevator call control system comprising: receiving a first elevator call from a first individual carrying a first mobile device, the first elevator call including a destination request to travel from a first boarding floor to a first destination floor; determining that the first individual carrying the first mobile device is traveling with a second individual, wherein the second individual is traveling to a second destination floor; assigning an elevator car to the first elevator call; and scheduling the elevator car to transport the first individual carrying the first mobile device and the second individual together to at least one of a first destination floor and the second destination floor.

According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for preventing an unintended call for a conveyance apparatus of a conveyance system is provided. The conveyance system comprising a first location device and a second location device. The computer-implemented method comprising: detecting a first interaction between the mobile device and the first location device; determining a travel direction of the first mobile device; and automatically filtering a second interaction between the mobile device and a second location device to prevent an unintended call to a conveyance apparatus in response to the travel direction of the mobile device.

An electronic controller controls the elevator system to deliver the elevator car to a given floor in response to an elevator car request. A mobile user includes a display screen and is installed with a secondary-touch detection system that detects a first touch action applied to the display screen and a second touch action applied to the display screen. The mobile user device launches a full service request user interface in response to detecting the first touch action, and performs at least one of launching a pop-up service request user interface and automatically communicates the elevator car request to the controller in response to detecting the second touch action.
