Disclosed is a display apparatus and a method for digital manipulation of a virtual user interface in virtual environments. The display apparatus includes a light source, tracking means, and a processor configured to control the light source to project the virtual user interface, and process tracking data from the tracking means to detect the proximity of an interaction element, such as a user's hand, to an invisible segment of a virtual widget within the virtual user interface. Upon proximity detection, the light source is activated to display the virtual widget. The processor then determines if the segment has been activated and subsequently processes any positional changes of the interaction element to adjust the virtual user interface accordingly. This adjustment is performed in accordance with predefined visual effects that correspond to the activated segment, enabling intuitive and dynamic user interaction.

Digital manipulation of virtual user interface via activation of invisible virtual widget

A method for voice based communication between a number of mobile terminals of a telecommunication network, the method comprising the steps of creating a group of said number of terminals and storing group information in each of the number of terminals, recording a voice message in one of the terminals of the group, dispatching the voice message to the terminals of the group from the one of the terminals, and receiving the voice message at least all other terminals of the group. The step of creating a group of terminals further comprises the steps of coupling together a number of mobile terminals, initiating a group creation command from at least one of the terminals, sending predetermined information from terminal to terminal to each terminal of the number of terminals for forming a group information, and transmitting the group information to all of the terminals thus forming a group of the terminals.

Group communication device and method

A mobile communication apparatus capable of presenting themes, a telecommunication system comprising a such apparatus, and a corresponding method are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a processor arranged to generate an audio signal in response to a set theme. The audio signal comprises a speech signal, wherein speech of the speech signal have voice characteristics which depend on the theme. Alternatively, processor is arranged to set a theme in response to contact information stored in a contact information database of the appatatus and associated with actions performed by the apparatus.

Mobile communication terminal

A method in electronic messaging in a mobile telecommunications network for mobile communication terminals is disclosed. The method involves, in a sender terminal, the steps of generating an electronic message, associating the electronic message with a message notification, and representing the electronic message and the message notification in a signal which is transmittable over the mobile telecommunications network to a receiver terminal. The signal is adapted, when received in the receiver terminal, for performance of the message notification in a user interface of the receiver terminal as a notification of the reception of the electronic message. Further disclosed are an associated method in a receiver terminal, and a sender terminal and a receiver terminal capable of performing the respective method, as well as a system including such sender and receiver terminals.

Mobile communication terminal and method

A wireless system having a central family calendar. Individual family members may access the family calendar from their wireless devices. The system also includes telephone and address information for non-family members. Important dates such as birthdays, associated with the non-family members may automatically appear in the calendar. The system may be incorporated into other family accessible devices such as a family bulletin board.

Electronic calendar system

A system enables a user to communicate with another person via an external device, e.g. an audio, video, display interface. The external device includes a short-range transceiver, a memory, and an output interface. The mobile device includes two network transceivers, typically a cellular transceiver and a short-range transceiver, typically Bluetooth. In operation, the user prepares and stores a list of external devices with assigned IDs. The user further stores a list of phone numbers (phone book information) of contacts on the cellular network associated with the external devices for delivery of messages to the selected external device(s). The mobile device scans the network, and detects messages from associated contact source(s). The messages are stored by the ID. When the mobile device is within the coverage area of the external device, the mobile device transmits the message(s). The external device interprets the message for output to the intended recipient.

System and method for assigning contact information to an external device for communication purposes using a mobile device

A communication terminal having a user interface, and comprising a controller unit controlling said user interface, a first and a second operation key whose operation is controlled by the controller unit, and a display. The communication terminal being capable of assuming a plurality of states in which the groups of predetermined operations that may be performed by pressing said operation key are defined by the controller unit in said plurality of states. The first operation key is dedicated by the controller unit to perform one operation from said group of operations as a default function in dependence of the state assumed by the communication terminal, and the display has a first area solely dedicated for displaying the present operation performed when pressing said first operation key. The second operation key being dedicated by the controller unit to give access to said group of operations being available in the state assumed by the communication terminal. A scroll key allowing the user to scroll between operations included in said group of actions available for said second operation key. The user selects a highlighted operation by pressing a selection key.

Communication terminal

The invention relates to a keyboard arrangement and a method for detecting an input character. In particular the invention relates to a method and arrangement for reducing the number of keys in a QWERTY-keyboard () or the like. One idea of the invention is to provide keys () with several characters and to provide alternative ways to press the key for entering a selected one of the alternative characters. The keys are preferably triangular or have three arms, and one of three characters can be selected by pressing the corresponding corner/arm of the key. The keyboard may preferably be formed of interlaced rows of keys. Linguistic disambiguation is advantageously used in addition to said mechanical disambiguation. The invention is well suited for mobile station keyboards.

Method and apparatus for providing air quality analysis based on human reactions and clustering methods

A wireless user station (10), such as a cellular telephone, is provided with a touch sensitive input device, such as a touch-sensitive display (20) or a touchpad (23). A display device displays a plurality of symbols. A first location of a tactile input is detected and displayed symbols in the vicinity of the first location of the tactile input are magnified to occupy a larger display area. Subsequently, a second location of the tactile input is detected, thereby identifying a new position of the user's fingertip. After the second location on the touch sensitive screen remains constant, or after the user lifts the fingertip, the second location of the tactile input is reported and associated with the selected symbol.
