A method and system for associating one or more contents with an electronic page. The method includes receiving a request for the electronic page from a user. The method further includes processing the request in a predefined manner. Thereafter, the method includes selecting one or more contents in response to processing the request. Further, the method includes rendering one or more contents along with the electronic page in a predetermined format.

A communication network comprising a carrier network with a service coordinator is capable of acting upon SIM card change information detected by an agent located in the electronic devices used in the communication network. In general, the agent in electronic devices facilitates the determination of SIM Card changes in the electronic device. It also facilitates the selective reporting of such changes to the carrier network. In one embodiment, the communication network is capable of detecting SIM Card changes in the electronic device. In general, the carrier network determines updates to firmware, software, configuration etc. necessitated by the change in SIM card and selectively communicates it to the electronic device.

Disclosed herein is an electronic device having a non-volatile memory including a plurality of memory sections. Each of the plurality of memory sections may be managed by a remote management server and an associated service and may participate in a mobile services network. The non-volatile memory may include manufacturer related content and data, such as firmware and an operating system. The non-volatile memory may also include operator related data and content, such as communication stacks for bearer communications. The non-volatile memory may also include corporation related data and content, such as confidential corporate information and software. The non-volatile memory may also include end user related data and content, such as gaming software and address book information. Each of the memory sections in the non-volatile memory may be managed by a different remote management server.

Disclosed herein is a system and method for the efficient manufacture and update of electronic devices that is capable of pre-programming firmware/software into flash units (or other similar memory units) during their manufacturing so as to make the assembly line for the electronic devices more efficient and faster, and thus more productive. Various embodiments of the present invention may provide for an eventual update of the assembled electronic devices, after sales, employing embedded update agents in the electronic devices.
