A system for recovering antifreeze from a dust prevention system of a mineral material processing plant, wherein the system includes an antifreeze tank, a pump configured to circulate water and/or antifreeze, a first valve configured to connect to a water inlet and/or antifreeze tank to the pump, a nozzle manifold connected to the pump, a second valve configured to connect the nozzle manifold to the antifreeze tank and/or a third valve, and a control system. The control system is configured to operate the system according to a method including the steps of sucking water using a pump from a water inlet via a first valve, displacing the antifreeze via a nozzle manifold into an antifreeze tank until the water reaches a second valve, and connecting the second valve to a third valve to allow circulation of water in the system.

Method and system for recovering antifreeze from a dust prevention system of a mineral material processing plant

A method for binding logging waste or small timber material by using an automatic binding device, wherein the material is collected in a continuous bundle of brushwood and fed in the longitudinal direction. The material of the bundle of brushwood is compressed further in the binding device by tensioning the band which is fed in a continuous manner around the bundle of brushwood, and the band is finally locked as a strap which keeps the bundle of brushwood together. The binding device comprises at least binding means which are arranged for feeding a continuous band around the material to be bound, for compressing the material by tensioning the band and for forming a locked strap by means of the band around the material, and a transfer mechanism which is arranged to allow the movement of the binding means from an initial position towards the material when the band is tensioned, to allow the movement of the binding means in the direction of the surface of the material when the material is simultaneously compressed by tensioning the band further, and during the compression to allow the orientation of the position of the binding means continuously towards the material at different locations of its surface, as well as to return the binding means to the initial position after the formation of the strap.

Binding device and a method for forming a stock of brushwood

A sawing device and a chain for it, comprising at least two adjacent sequences of connecting links, of which at least some are cutting teeth; and a sequence of drive links fitted between two adjacent connecting link sequences, wherein an opening at the rear end of the drive link is centered at an opening in the front end of the connecting links, wherein an opening in the front end of the drive link is centered at an opening of the rear end of the connecting links, and wherein a binding pin extending through the whole width of the chain is fitted in the openings. To increase the sawing width, a bush ring is fitted between two adjacent connecting link sequences, around the pin, and placed in the opening of the drive link, and on at least one side of said drive link, a collar is fitted whose diameter is formed greater than the opening in said drive link.

A tree feeding device of a tree handling machine has a saw (8) for cross-cutting of a tree trunk, a conveying unit (2) for moving the tree trunk, an actuator (4) for positioning the conveying unit (2) as well as delimbing blades (6) for delimbing the tree trunk. The conveying unit (2) has a rotatable structure with peripheral, substantially rigid surface adapted to support a continuous contact member, which transmits force between the rotatable structure and the tree trunk. The force acting between the rotatable structure and the tree trunk is adapted to be transmitted directly between the peripheral surface and the continuous contact member of elastic material, which is in direct contact with the peripheral surface and capable of moving freely in relation thereto in a manner determined by the load acting on the elastic material.
