An exemplary movable contact for an electric switch having a first contact blade and a second contact blade. Each of the first contact blade and the second contact blade includes an assembly hole. The movable contact having an assembly pin wherein the assembly pin includes a separation portion having a diameter greater than the assembly holes of the first and second contact blades thereby keeping the first and second contact blades separated from each other. The assembly pin includes a contact blade portion on each side of the separation portion for insertion to the assembly holes of the contact blades.

Electric current switching apparatus

An exemplary electric switch mounting arrangement includes a housing and a stationary contact to be mounted to an aperture in a wall of the housing. The arrangement having a compensation component within the interior area of the aperture for allowing stationary contacts of two different sizes to be mounted to the aperture, which compensation component includes one or more projections formed on the housing or the stationary contact and/or one or more recesses formed on the housing or stationary contact for receiving the one or more projections.

An electric switch includes a movable contact, a stationary contact to be contacted by the movable contact, one or more quenching plates, and a permanent magnet for directing an arc, which is formed when the contacts are separated from each other, to the quenching plate. The quenching plate has a base portion and side portions extending away from the base portion. The permanent magnet is arranged such that the arc is directed towards one of the side portions of the quenching plate.

An arc quenching plate for an electric switch includes a first mounting portion and a second mounting portion for mounting the quenching plate to respective recesses of the switch. The first mounting portion and the second mounting portion have a different form when compared to each other.

An electric switch is disclosed which includes a housing module housing a movable contact and a stationary contact having a contact portion to be contacted by the movable contact. The stationary contact can include a mounting portion, which mounting portion can be positioned closer to the center of the housing module than the contact portion of the stationary contact.

A rotary switch module includes a first stationary contact, a second stationary contact, and a movable contact for making an electrical connection between the first stationary contact and the second stationary contact. A rotary actuator is provided for rotating the movable contact, the rotary actuator having on its surface a first indication indicating an open position of the switch, and a second indication indicating a closed position of the switch. A first window indicates the first indication, and a second window separate from the first window indicates the second indication.

The invention relates to an arrangement for attaching a switch control shaft to a switch pipe shaft, where the control shaft is mounted partly in the switch pipe shaft and tightened to the switch pipe shaft by a screw. The arrangement comprises a tightening piece. The screw is arranged to act on the control shaft through the tightening piece so that when the screw is turned, the tightening piece is arranged to press the control shaft against the pipe shaft so that the control shaft tightens fast between the tightening piece and the pipe shaft.

A modular switching device is disclosed which includes a plurality of interconnected modules, the modules having a control device module and a pole cell module, the modules of the switching device being interconnected with a shaft adapted to transfer a torque required for operating the switching device from one module to another module. The modular switching device is configured such that each module has a shaft element, and the shaft transferring the torque is composed of directly interconnected shaft elements.
