Disclosed is a method for the manufacture of fibrous yarn including the steps, where an aqueous suspension including fibers and at least one rheology modifier is provided, followed by directing the suspension through at least one nozzle, to form at least one yarn, and then dewatering the yarn.

Method for manufacturing fibrous yarn

A method for the manufacture of fibrous yarn includes providing an aqueous suspension formed from fibers and at least one rheology modifier; directing the aqueous suspension through at least one nozzle, to form at least one yarn, and subjecting said yarn to dewatering. The at least one nozzle can have an inner diameter of an outlet smaller than or equal to a maximum length weighed fiber length of the fibers.

Method for the manufacture of fibrous yarn

An air impingement arrangement and method for compensating for the curling tendency of a paper or board web which is being treated.
