The invention relates, in particular, to structures of an arrangement applicable for use in the context of dental or medical X-ray imaging, wherein the arrangement comprises an X-ray detector (), an X-ray source (), a light field indicator () and a support construction () to which the X-ray source () construction and the light field indicator () construction are mounted. The support construction () is configured to enable positioning the X-ray source () construction and the light field indicator () construction at essentially the same location, so as to when at a given time locating at said essentially same location, to direct a given X-ray irradiation field pattern and visible light field pattern in essentially the same direction towards the X-ray detector ().

X-ray imaging arrangement

An apparatus applicable for use in the context of dental or medical X-ray imaging includes a support constructionto which an X-ray source, an X-ray detector and a visible light emitting construction' are mounted. The support constructionis configured to enable moving the X-ray sourceand the visible light emitting construction′ such that they can be positioned at a given first and second time at essentially the same location so as to direct, when positioned at that location, a given field pattern in essentially the same direction towards the X-ray detector
