A cam action door closer comprising a body, a spring, a speed control channel system and a latching control channel system, a closing control piston having a piston head and a circular side. The closing control piston has a cutting on the side of the closing control piston and on the piston head, the cutting forming a control edge at its end. The cutting has a length between the piston head and the control edge. The speed control channel system comprises a speed connecting channel, which is located in such a way that the control edge is arranged to close it.

Cam action door closer

The invention relates to door closers, particularly a door closer control device that regulates the flow of a pressure medium controlling the function of a door closer. A control device according to the invention includes a support part with a collar that serves as a second support for the control device on the door closer body in addition to the support in the guiding part. This second support holds the control device in place within the pressure medium flow without any rocking or swaying movement, which would hamper the door closing speed.

Control valve for door closer

A piston assembly for a door closer includes a piston formed with a mounting hole and a door closer valve installed with clearance in the mounting hole. The door closer valve has a body part with first and second formations at opposite respective ends of the body part for engaging opposite respective sides of the piston and retaining the valve in the mounting hole. The body part is movable in the mounting hole axially of the mounting hole. The first formation is a protruding flange for seating against the piston at the first side thereof around the mounting hole and creating a seal around the mounting hole.

Valve

A closure sequence controller for a double door arrangement in which the double door arrangement is provided with a first door closer and a first pull arm for closing a first door leaf and with a second door closer and a second pull arm for closing a second door leaf. A guide rail guides the distal ends of the pull arms relative to the door closers. The closure sequence controller includes a connection piece for transmitting a pulling force from the distal end of the first pull arm to the closure sequence controller. The closure sequence controller prevents movement of the distal end of the second pull arm in the guide rail past the closure sequence controller until the distal end of the first pull arm has exerted the pulling force on the closure sequence controller through the connection piece.

Door closing arrangement for a double door

First and second door leaves are pivotable with respect to a door frame and each door leaf has a hinge edge at which it is hingedly attached to the door frame. Each door leaf is provided with a door closer and a pull arm for closing the door leaf. The door frame is provided with a guide rail mounted to the door frame for guiding movement of distal ends of the pull arms longitudinally of the guide member. During closing movement of the second door leaf, the distal end of the second pull arm moves along the guide rail initially in an allowing direction, away from the hinge edge of the second door leaf, and subsequently in a blocking direction, towards the hinge edge of the second door leaf. During closing movement of the second door leaf, a blocking device allows movement of the distal end of the second pull arm past the blocking device in the allowing direction and selectively prevents return movement of the distal end of the second pull arm past the blocking device in the blocking direction.
