Disclosed is a method for managing a communication session between a first party and a second party. The method includes: receiving a request from a web server to establish a connection; determining the second party to the connection on a basis of data received in the request; inquiring from a database at least one rule; selecting a setup for the connection with respect to the second party in accordance with the at least one rule; establishing the connection to a terminal device of the second party from the WebRTC server; attaching the connection to the terminal device of the second party with the communication session over the web page. Also disclosed is a server device, a computer program product, and a system thereto.

Management of a communication session

Disclosed is a method for managing a communication of a terminal device. In the method it is determined if the terminal device executes an active communication connection carrying voice data over a public switched telephone network, in response to a determination that the terminal device executes the active communication connection inactivating a voice portion of a communication session over a communication network implementing IP based communication, and in response to a determination that the terminal device does not execute the active communication connection activating the voice portion of the communication session over the communication network implementing IP based communication. Communication management

Disclosed is a method for establishing a communication session. The method includes: establishing a chat session between a first terminal device and a second terminal device, determining if both the first terminal device and the second terminal device support a specific communication technology, forwarding an invitation to initiate communication over the specific communication technology, in response to a detection that the invitation is accepted requesting from a communication server an initiation of a communication channel implemented with the specific communication technology, and in response to an establishment of the communication channel implemented with the specific communication technology establishing the communication session for communicating at least over the specific communication technology. Also disclosed is a chat server, a computer program product and a system.

Communication solution

Disclosed is a method for establishing a communication session. First, the communication session is initiated by a server. Next, a first connection request is generated for a voice call between a first WebRTC device and a second WebRTC device over a WebRTC gateway device. A second connection request including an identifier of first WebRTC device is generated towards a connection management server. Next, an inquiry to the connection management server by the second WebRTC device is generated for determining if a connection request is received from the first WebRTC device, and in that case the communication session including both the first connection for the voice call and a second connection is established.

Solution for establishing a communication session

The present invention relates to a method of arranging inter-working for a communications system comprising a PMR (private mobile radio) system part and a PLMN (public land mobile network) system part. The system comprises a mobile intermediate device capable of communicating with the PMR system part and the PLMN system part and comprising a converter for performing protocol conversion between the PMR system part and the PLMN system part, the method comprising: detecting in the intermediate device a need for inter-system transfer from a source system part to a target system part, performing by the converter conversion for an information unit from a source system to a format appropriate in the target system part; and transmitting the converted information unit to the target system part.
