A peripheral device operatively couplable to a plurality of information handling systems may comprise a microcontroller to execute code instructions of a gateway automated wireless pairing module stored on a storage device storing Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) host addresses for the information handling systems detecting hotkey activation of the peripheral device to coordinate trusted pairing of a subordinate wireless peripheral device to each of the information handling systems and to copy clone extended directed generic attribute (GATT) communication profile metadata, a wireless radio transmitting to the subordinate wireless peripheral device each of the BLE host addresses and instructions to pair with each of the information handling systems, via extended directed GATT communications established using the BLE host addresses, and the wireless radio to transmit to the subordinate wireless peripheral device and to each of the information handling systems, via extended direct GATT communication mode, seed values for generation of pairing credentials.

System and method of automatically onboarding a peripheral device to a plurality of host information handling systems via a previously paired gateway peripheral device

Systems and methods described herein may provide a system that enables game play or other application sessions from a set of candidate game hosts and environments to consumption devices of a user's choice while the user moves about their home between the different environments. The system may employ methods to determine where a user is located within the home, availability and selection of candidate game hosting and target environments, homing and direction of related I/O and audio-visual (AV) content for consumption. The solution accommodates multiple users simultaneously within the home, whether in single player, multiplayer using the same screen, or multiplayer using separate screen games. The solution may configure AV and input/output (I/O) such that multiple users can consume one or multiple games in the home simultaneously, whether in separate locations or when seated together in front of the same consumption device.

Dynamic network coverage for multi-user, multi-device experience

A system and method for generating a coordinated set of peripheral devices that possess the ability to connect and disconnect as a coordinated set to each of multiple Information Handling Systems (IHSs). In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an IHS may include computer-executable instructions to receive an advertisement from a first peripheral device from among a plurality of peripheral devices. Each peripheral device is configured with a common secret group identity key that identifies the peripheral devices as belonging to a coordinated group. When the first peripheral device is recognized as a member of the coordinated group according to the advertisement, perform a discovery operation to identify the first peripheral device and the other peripheral devices using the secret group identity key, and connect the IHS with the first peripheral device and the other peripheral devices that belong to the coordinated set.

System and method for bluetooth group pairing and connectivity

Systems and methods for managing peripheral device connectivity based on context are described. In an embodiment, an IHS may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: select a first radio to communicate with a peripheral device; determine that at least one of: a distance between the IHS and the peripheral device, a battery level of the IHS, or a battery level of the peripheral device is greater or smaller than a threshold value; and, in response to the determination, select a second radio to communicate with the peripheral device.

If the first IHS is configured as a host for the P2P connection, then it can adapt an advertisement rate of the first IHS, and stop any scans by the first IHS. If the first IHS is configured as a client for the P2P connection, it can adapt a scan rate of the first IHS, and stop any advertisements by the first IHS.

An information handling system and method is disclosed comprising a processor, a memory, a power management unit (PMU), at least one tunable antenna, and an antenna controller executing code instructions configured to receive access point (AP) telemetry information from one or more wireless APs, wherein the AP telemetry information is received within a fast initial link setup (FILS) discovery beacon frame including the AP telemetry information, determine a band/channel score for a plurality of radiofrequency bands and channels available for the wireless adapter to access the one or more wireless APs, receive local telemetry at the information handling system, and determine a recommendation for a band/channel change for the wireless adapter and trigger a band or antenna switching in accordance with the recommendation.

An information handling system is disclosed and includes a processor, a memory, a power management unit (PMU), at least two antennas, and a wireless interface operatively coupled to the at least two antennas. The processor may execute code instructions for a distance and direction detection module therein configured to enable phase-based ranging with narrow band tone exchange, to add at least one constant tone duration to a wireless data signal frame, to monitor for nearby peripheral devices, and to measure at least two distances between each of the at least two antennas at the information handling system and a nearby peripheral device using switching between the at least two antennas.

The operation includes: configuring a host to detect a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) client device, the host being BLE enabled; using the host to detect whether the BLE client device is present; triggering a private beacon when the BLE client device is present; identifying active WiFi channels associated with the host and the BLE client device; configuring the host to communicate with a BLE client device via a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection, the BLE connection comprising a plurality of channels, the device functioning as a BLE-enabled host device; and, establishing an ad-hoc, mesh network between the host and the BLE client device using the active WiFi channels and the BLE connection.

In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an IHS may include computer-executable instructions to receive, by a personal audio device, a plurality of measurements associated with an audio dosage level incurred by a user over a specified period of time, and determine that a cumulative audio dosage level for the specified period of time is excessive. A first portion of the measurements obtained when the audio dosage level is generated by a first audio source and a second portion of the measurements obtained when the audio dosage level is generated by a second audio source. Additionally, the cumulative audio dosage level obtained by combining the first portion and second portion of measurements. When the cumulative audio dosage level is excessive, perform one or more remedial actions to reduce the audio dosage level.

Based on the workload information and the engagement and dependency predictions, the computing device may determine workload priority predictions for the plurality of workloads.
