Bait pedal for a mouse or rat trap

A tackle box has superposed interlinked trays which are stacked inside of the box when it is closed and which are moved into a staggered opened out configuration by cantilever linkages when the box is opened. The trays are made of a clear plastic material capable of transmitting light by edge lighting. The uppermost and lowermost trays have central compartments receiving respective self-contained flashlight-type light fittings each with a light bulb received in a socket formed in the base wall of the respective tray. When activated, the respective light bulbs light the respective trays be edge lighting. The light fittings have plunger-type switches projecting upwardly for actuation by the tackle box lid and the intermediate tray respectively so that the lighting system is automatically actuated when the box is opened. The switches can be permanently positioned in an off condition for daylight use. The light fittings may be removed for independent use as flashlights.

Lighted tackle box

A module for firmly retaining a tablet-like member to optimize air flow around the member includes a slotted front wall and a rear wall defining an enclosure therebetween. Two vanes projecting from one wall terminate in respective spaced parallel edges which urge the tablet-like member against the edge of a third vane projecting from the opposite wall when the tablet-like member is inserted into the enclosure from an open bottom end. The front wall and a portion of the rear wall are multiply slotted to facilitate air flow around the tablet. Centering members are provided to automatically transversely center the tablet with respect to the vanes when it is inserted into the enclosure. The rear wall of the module extends transversely to define shoulders which slidably engage opposing shoulders in a mounting support forward at the right angle junction of two walls in a container in which the module is disposed. A projection from one container wall urges the module rear wall forward to firmly engage the slidable shoulders. A snap-fit engagement is provided for the module in the mounting support.

Tackle box

A trolling bucket for carrying live bait or the like and adapted to be towed behind a boat comprising a hollow shell, preferably of resilient material with a spring-pressed door normally covering an opening into the interior chamber. Latching means provides for securing the door in an opened position to enable the bucket to be loaded or emptied. Releasing means actuable from the exterior of the shell frees the door from its latching engagement. The releasing means can be a portion of the latching member extending exteriorly of the shell or the door can be released by retracting an extendable handle so that portions of the same slide interiorly of the shell and engage the door.
