A sectional overhead door construction utilizing articulated panels with a unique pinch-free interlocking system for connecting the lower edge of the panel with the upper edge of the panel therebelow utilizing a slotted configuration for greatly facilitating and expediting assembly. In preferred embodiments the panels will define an engagement finger positionable within an insertion slot or enlarged keyhole section of an adjacent panel. Movement of the engagement finger along the insertion slot will achieve placement thereof within an engagement slot which allows pivotal articulated relative movement between vertically adjacent sectional door panels within the articulated door panel apparatus.

Sectional overhead door construction

A support structure for providing a building panel or an insulation support panel over the exterior or interior surfaces of pre-existing walls which includes a thermal insulation member for isolating the outer building panel from the inner building panel. This support structure is particularly usable with insulation which is in pre-formed blocks such as polystyrene rather than insulation which is blown in like polyurethane. A positively engaging mechanical lock mounts the inner support structure with respect to the outer support structure that maintains a complete thermal isolation therebetween. The interlocking device includes two clips adapted to be positively secured to opposite ends of the thermal brake member wherein each of the clips is adapted to be fixedly but detachably secured with respect to the inner and outer wall support structure.

Method for producing methane gas by processing waste materials

A heat transfer system including a thermally insulated tank defining a chamber therein which contains eutetic salt material for retaining high volumes of heat, the chamber inside of the tank is airtight with respect to the atmosphere, a conduit such as a pipe passes through the walls of the tank at two locations to provide a winding within the chamber such that as heated fluid is passed through the conduit, heat is retained by the eutetic salt material within the chamber, a portion of the walls of the tank having protruding sections which extend inward into the eutetic salt solution, the system including a heat sink adapted to be placed in thermal communication with the walls of the protrusions to withdraw heat selectively from the eutetic salt solution, a pump and sump system for recirculating the heated fluid from the conduit through a solar panel for heating and a blower and plenum area for passing air over the heat sink to provide a source of heated air.
