Air quality control systems for rooms or other enclosed spaces relying on generators which supply charges to particles present in the air thereby purifying or otherwise controlling the condition of the air. A source of high voltage is connected to radiating surfaces of various configurations carrying electrostatic charges. A fan or other air circulating device including natural air movement insures adequate contact of the air with the charges generated to thereby achieve the desired quality control. Operating mechanisms provided in the system include voltage varying circuitry to permit adjustment of the generating intensity. A sensor is provided to detect variations in conditions thereby permitting automatic voltage variations. A remote control station is comtemplated where independent environments may be involved and where separate control of these environments is desired. Switching of the system polarity enable production of positive or negative electrostatic charges depending on the atmospheric conditions encountered.

Air quality control systems

A piano action is provided for an electronic piano. Tones are generated electronically, but the action retains the feel of a conventional piano action without the necessity of a hammer or hammer-like member. The piano key is provided with a rounded, convex shoulder which presses against a rounded, convex surface on a lever. The two convex surfaces are configured and positioned so that one slides over the other to provide the feel of let-off of a conventional piano action. The lever is spring-biased by means of two different springs to rest position, and acts to move a spring wire contact from a first bus to a second bus.

Most of the circuitry of an electronic organ is made up of a plurality of digital large scale integrated (LSI) circuit chips. Certain of the chips can be duplicated or substituted for others of like type to provide an organ with more or less tone generators, more or less features, etc., whereby organs of various price levels can be constructed from the same basic parts. In operation, essentially all of the organ functions and features are provided by carrying out logical and arithmetic operations on digital pulse trains generated under control of a master clock.

In an electronic organ or the like constructed of a plurality of large scale integrated circuit (LSI) chips, the present disclosure relates to a generator chip. The chip is operative over one octave of notes, and a string of chips is cascaded to provide as many octaves as there are in the instrument.

In a modular, expandable organ system comprising a plurality of large scale integrated circuit (LSI) chips an LSI chip is provided which produces chord and bass frequency generation and identification. It automatically coordinates with another chip in rhythm production. It incorporates frequency generators, identifies a chord played, and provides keyers for chord notes.

In an electronic organ or the like constructed of a plurality of large scale integrated circuit (LSI) chips, the present disclosure relates to a master control LSI chip having a counter providing multiplexing drive outputs and also having a read only memory (ROM) programmed to provide rhythm voice patterns.

In a modular, expandable organ system comprising a plurality of large scale integrated circuit (LSI) chips an LSI chip is provided which produces frequencies corresponding to notes played on an organ keyboard. Outputs of different duty cycles of rectangular waves are provided for best simulating desired sounds. Other outputs are provided in which the notes are in octave groups facilitating filtering thereof. Each group of outputs has different attack and decay characteristics respectively under the control of the organist so that similar or different types of attack and decay may be provided on different outputs. The present LSI chip provides three generators on one chip. The chips are capable of being interconnected such that any multiple of three generators may be provided.
