A conveyor belt cleaner which includes a sleeve mounted over a transversely extending support member one or more cleaner elements with a mounting flange at one end for connection to the sleeve, a channel defined between the sleeve and the mounting flange, and a sliding surface associated with the sleeve formed of a plastic having a high degree of lubricity and a low sliding coefficient of friction, the sliding surface adapted to facilitate removal and replacement of the belt cleaner elements. A loose-running fit between mating parts is also provided.

Conveyor belt cleaner

A quick release aerator is provided for discharging intermittent bursts of pressurized air into a storage container to implement material flow. The unit includes a piston and valve assembly disposed internal to a pressure tank. The assembly features one or more vent ports defined through the sidewalls of a cylinder to allow the passage of pressurized air from the tank to an outlet orifice. The total area of the vent ports equals or exceeds the area of the exhaust port, thereby maximizing the effect of the burst of pressurized air.

Quick release aerator

A unit for transferring a charge of air under pressure from a reservoir or accumulator to a container of dispensable or flowable material of granular or like nature. The unit is in the form of a hollow body having at one end a flange for connection to the reservoir, at its other end an inlet for receiving air under pressure, at one side a flange for connection to the container and an interior piston-valve operative first to enable charging of the reservoir with a large volume of air under pressure and second to release the reservoir air rapidly into the container.

Fast release aerator for materials handling

A system for transferring a charge of air under high pressure from an accumulator or reservoir to a container of dispensable or flowable material of granular or like nature to facilitate flow or discharge of the material, as in cases where the material tends to 'bridge' or 'hang up' and create blockages as at the outlet of the container.
