A latch assembly is provided that includes a latch arm having a rotational axis and an engagement surface on a distal end of the latch arm a length from the rotational axis. The engagement surface is stowed in a stowed state of the latch arm. The latch arm is configured to receive a pushing force to depress the latch arm a predetermined distance along the rotational axis. The latch assembly also includes a turret assembly having a top end with the latch arm mounted thereon. The turret assembly is configured to, in response to the pushing force being applied to the latch arm, raise and rotate the latch arm about the rotational axis to thereby transition the latch arm from the stowed state to a deployed state in which the engagement surface is exposed.

Press-to-deploy rotatable latch assembly

A wall assembly for an interior of an aircraft includes a frame member secured within a cabin of the aircraft having a first side and a second opposing side. The assembly further includes a first decorative panel secured to the frame member on a first side of the frame and a second decorative panel secured to the frame member on a second side of the frame.

Interior aircraft frame assembly for furnishings

A wall guard, monument, and vehicle are provided. The wall guard includes a retaining rail that is mountable to a wall surface of a monument in a vehicle. The retaining rail includes opposing edges that include outward-facing retention lips. A rub strip includes a resilient body and also includes a third lengthwise edge and a fourth lengthwise edge. The third lengthwise edge includes a first inward-facing retention tab and fourth lengthwise edge includes a second inward-facing retention tab. The inward-facing retention tabs engage the respective outward-facing retention lips to attach the rub strip to the retaining rail. The wall guard also includes end caps arranged at ends of the resilient body and the retaining rail. The end caps include an exterior profile that matches a profile of the rub strip. The end caps cover the ends of the rub strip and the retaining rail.

A tie rod assembly which includes a first rod member and an enclosure which defines an opening and contains a fluid with the first rod member affixed to the enclosure. A second rod member extends through the opening with a seal member positioned between the second rod member and the enclosure. The assembly also includes a head member affixed to the second rod member wherein the head member is positioned within the enclosure and the head member and the second rod member are moveable relative to the enclosure.

Self-dampening tie-rod

Aircraft passageway storage units are disclosed herein. An example apparatus includes a storage assembly to be supported on a floor of an interior of a fuselage of an aircraft. The storage assembly has a corner to be adjacent a passageway of the interior of the fuselage, and the passageway is to extend around the corner. The example apparatus also includes a door coupled to the storage assembly. The door extends from a first side of the storage assembly to a second side of the storage assembly and defines a portion of the corner. The door is to cover an opening of a compartment of the storage assembly when the door is in a closed position, and the opening is to extend from the first side to the second side.

Aircraft passageway storage units

A receptacle for a fastener is provided that may be relatively light weight and compact, may reduce the number of parts required for mounting an object to a surface, and may allow for greater flexibility in positioning the fastener. Additionally, a corresponding method for installing a receptacle and mounting an object is provided. The receptacle has an outer housing and a floating insert, and the floating insert is positioned within an internal cavity of the outer housing. A fastener may be inserted into an internal cavity of the floating insert through apertures in the outer housing and the floating insert. The floating insert is configured such that it is movable within the outer housing. As a result, the location of the aperture of the floating insert is adjustable, providing greater tolerances during the installation process.

Aircraft passageway storage unit

A storage unit that may be used in place of an attendant seat, fits into the approximate space of the attendant seat and may employ the same attachment system for securing the storage unit. The storage unit comprises an enclosure having a door and a mounting bracket. The storage unit has a profile that may be configured to match that of a floor-mounted attendant seat, wherein the storage unit may be used to replace the floor-mounted attendant seat. The enclosure may be formed having a resilient structure that forms a compartment, a front wall enclosing the area of the compartment, at least one vertical rail, a top cap. The storage unit further comprises a mounting bracket and a plurality of fasteners for attaching the storage unit to a support frame.

An attachment assembly for securing a secondary door to a mating structure may include a door frame and at least one telescoping structural pin disposable within a side of the door frame. The structural pin may be extendable from a retracted position to a deployed position into the mating structure.

Attachment assembly and method for secondary door

An attachment assembly may be adapted for securing a panel member such as a class divider or a secondary door to a mating structure. The attachment assembly comprises at least one structural pin configured to be extendable from a retracted position to a deployed position. The attachment assembly may include a base support configured to be placed in overlapping contact with the panel member. The attachment assembly may include a primary support configured to be mountable such as in overlapping contact to the base support and having at least one sleeve sized and configured to receive the structural pin which is telescopically movable. A locking mechanism such as a quick release pin may be inserted through bores formed in the sleeve and in the structural pin to prevent axial movement of the structural pin relative to the sleeve.

Attachment assembly and method

An apparatus comprising an elongate planar member, a number of flanges, and a number of channels at ends of the number of flanges. The elongate planar member may have a first side, a second side, and a number of holes. The first side may be opposite to the second side, wherein the first side may be capable of being secured to a track having a substantially planar surface with an array of holes. The number of flanges may extend from the second side of the elongate planar member. Each channel in the number of channels may have a bottom, a first wall, and a second wall. The first wall may have a first lip, and the second wall may have a second lip, wherein the first lip and the second lip may extend towards a centerline of an associated channel in the number of channels.

Seat track adapter

A panel includes a core and a fastener receptacle extending into the core. The fastener receptacle has an internal hollow and an opening to the internal hollow. The opening is formed by a lip that can engage and structurally support a push-in fastener.

A closet comprises a support rail, a light, a raceway, a rub strip, and a hinge unit. The support rail is capable of providing structural support for the closet and having a plurality of connecting elements. The light has a first set of connecting elements capable of being engaged to the plurality of connecting elements. The raceway has a second set of connecting elements capable of being engaged to the plurality of connecting elements. The rub strip has a third set of connecting elements capable of being engaged to the plurality of connecting elements. The hinge unit has a shape capable of being connected to the support rail.
